Came across this place when we were on our way home in one of the alleys. It was a bit crowded. There were a few people lining up waiting for their food when we were there but our food arrived 5 minutes after we ordered. Love the fish and chips and pizza that we ordered! Three of us shared both of these so i would say the portion is big.
Condescending service when we asked for takeaway - “it’ll get cold” even though we were staying around the corner. Opened it up to reveal the saddest looking fish and chips we’ve ever seen. They didn’t even have tartar sauce. Will not be back.
We ordered döner kebab. This is definitely not it. Only price and staff was good.
We have just returned from our trip to Edinburgh city and we have had our eyes set on this place as soon as we arrived. What a great establishment, very welcoming and a humble place of refuge after a night on the town. The perfect place to bring the family and try the local cuisine.
So happy to get some fresh veggies here with my meal. The lamb was alright. Not the best I’ve ever had but everything was decent and well priced.
The falafels were the best part. Usually I find many falafels dry but these were moist and delicious. The man serving is was also kind. The place is pretty small and the atmosphere is nothing to write home about.

Worth every pound! Tasty and very nice service 🤤. Highly recommend veg pizza, shawarma and falafel, other salads.
