The Goddard School of Manhattan StuyTown

My son is in the infant class at Goddard. We haven't encountered any issues. The school is very communicative, the staff is friendly, and classrooms are clean. Our son LOVES his teacher and gets excited every time he sees her. Overall, I can say that the school genuinely cares about my child's well-being and happiness.

We are so happy we found Goddard for our son. Not only are his teachers (Ms. Sandy and Ms. Lyne) wonderful, but everyone who works at reception is kind and helpful too. My husband and I are constantly texting each other throughout the day with, “Did you see the latest picture from daycare?!” We know our baby is in great hands!

My daughter has been in Goddard since April and we have had a really good experience. The all staff is extremely kind and attentive. Ms. Mona, Ms. Jillian, Ms. Sofia are there every day to welcome and say goodbye and ready to respond to any questions or needs in the sweetest way. In the classroom we had Ms. Jada who was key to ensure my daughter's transition to a new school, but also to a new language and country, as we moved from abroad. Now we are with Ms. Candace and Ms. Ilene and they were fantastic, making the transition to a new classroom as smooth as possible. She is received every day with a smile and open arms. It is reassuring as a parent to see her walking smiling to her classroom and teachers and developing her playing and learning skills every day. It is a very familiar environment and I also feel that the parents and the school make it a great community.

We are so grateful for our incredible teachers Ms Sandy and Ms Lyne! Every day we receive numerous pictures of our 5 month old engaging in fun, developmentally appropriate activities in a nurturing environment. When we drop him off and pick him up he is always so joyful, you can tell he loves to be there! Communication with the school has been great (we appreciate the monthly newsletter!) and we love all the fun themed days and parent engagement. Thank you Goddard for taking such thoughtful care of our little guy!

Both of our daughters (6 months and 4 years old) attend Goddard of StuyTown and we've been thrilled with our experience. The teachers are nurturing and creative and our kids are both happy there. Ms. Sonia and Ms. Angie are so sweet with our baby - they send adorable photos, sing and read to her and we were so excited to get our first hand turkey for Thanksgiving!

Ms. Victoria and Ms. Mia are amazing teachers in Pre-K. I've been very impressed with the curriculum, our daughter is learning so much and is excited to go everyday. We also love the staff, everyone is very communicative, organized and caring. Thank you!

We absolutely love Goddard! As first time parents, the administration and teachers were all wonderfully caring, attentive, comforting and communicative. Our son is thriving and has also made great friends, among a fun, education and well-rounded classroom. Having been in two classes as he’s moved up over the past two years, we can only say the most wonderful things about his teachers so fun; Miss Jenn, Miss Diana, Miss Danasia and Mr. Sheik. The administrative staff, Miss Emily, Miss Mona and Miss Jillian, are also amazing and truly care about the children and families.

I have been a parent at Goddard Daycare in StuyTown for over a year now, and I cannot express how grateful I am for this childcare facility. Their staff, goes above and beyond to ensure a nurturing and educational environment for our little ones.

First and foremost, I would like to mention some of the amazing teachers who have played a significant role in making our experience at Goddard Daycare so positive.

Mr. Jose- is a treasure and this school should do everything in their power to keep him because he has MADE our son’s entire experience at this daycare so special. He has a natural talent for connecting with the children and creating engaging activities that promote learning and creativity

Miss Juliette- has such a warm demeanor with all the kids and they love her and feel happy in her presence

Miss Mona - her greetings are the kind that immediately turn you into a morning person and the children have always loved her (and I have too!)

Miss Jillian - My son runs to the office to say goodbye to Jillian on a daily basis, we cannot leave until he does so.

Mr. Cheikh - His ability to anticipate any child’s needs is remarkable. I will also say he is particularly amazing at redirecting the kids as different moods and emotions arise.

Miss Diana- My son just thinks she is so cool and for me she is just a solid teacher that engages well with all kids

Miss Sofie is new to me but she is very good at communicating with parents and sharing little snippets of the kid’s days at pick up, which I LOVE!

Miss Aileen- has had both of my children in her classes and I am very thankful to her positivity and resilience with the little ones!

An honorable mention to Miss Victoria and Miss Mia in the Shark room where our son gets to visit from time to time and often wants to stay in.

The daycare itself is well-maintained, clean, and exceptionally organized. The classrooms are bright and inviting, providing a stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. We’ve been happy with our experience here.
