Employees think it is act dumb and like to deny claims of racism that literally took place 5 feet from them.
Went to get some protein for my dinner and had to deal with some old lady, who is employee, going off on an racist rant to her fellow worker.
"We dont patrol our borders enough"
*Karen sees dark skinned mexican that over heard her*
*seals her lips*
When I brought this up to my cashier he brushed it off and gave some lame excuse about some product that they call border something.
Good Ol Oregon for you.

Great store. Incredible selection of bulk foods. Easy parking, friendly staff. Salad bar was pretty sad, mostly empty with ragged & brown lettuce for salad base, no spring mix at all. It was evening but there are still people who want salad.

Quality produce, great bulk items, decent wine selection. But the bakery is definitely subpar. You would have a special store if you would get someone to hold the bakery to the same standards as the rest of the store.

I actually love the store but there are a few problems that I've even told employees there about instill months and years later the same things are happening
First of all they have a completely unsanitary practice of putting little scoop cups next to the jars in bulk
Including the very bottom row that's by peoples feet, so the scoops are laying there upside down on the shelf
And they don't clean the shelves!
The other market of choice stores don't do this ridiculous thing.
I don't know what the person running the bulk section at this store is thinking but they are wrong and they need to start doing this
I don't buy my bugs but he says or teas here because Of this unsanitary ridiculous practice
its GROSS
And another thing I've noticed is there is a raw food desert they have had 4 many months, Oh and it doesn't have an expiration date even though it is perishable and in the refrigerated section
It's a very expensive item and it needs to have an expiration date; I was told the bakery should've put an expiration date on it by an employee, I told the bakery, two separate occasions that it didn't have expiration date on it
I think the product is called mom's, but it's a raw food desert and it's not hard to find since there are very few
Lastly, put prices on your things!
many of the treats on the little island next to the bakery counter Have no process, they haven't had prices for at least a year that I know of and they just never put prices on them
Do you assume that only rich people can buy them so nobody needs to know the price anyway?
Because that would be incorrect, sometimes people who aren't rich want to treat themselves but have a limit, so they need to know the price

Better than Whole Foods, this is THE place to shop for high quality organic groceries, Beer and Wine, and all sorts of ready to eat foods. The coffee shop inside was also excellent and friendly. If parking is full there's a large overflow lot behind the store.

Grocery heaven, I feel like I've been missing out my whole life. Up until now, I thought that Whole Foods was peak grocery, and maybe it was on the East Coast where I'm from. But this is on a whole different level. Choice is right -- the selection is massive, you get pretty much everything from your regular boxed grocery items (which is a nice touch, it's as if Whole Foods was 'too good' for those), all the way to boutique organic items. The bulk section is incredible, they've got stuff you'd only ever expect in a specialized herbal shop. There's a lot of great local foods, gelato, they have a bakery, deli, butcher, pretty much everything food related under the sun. Last but not least, it is spotless, in excellent condition, well organized, and well decorated. This store unironically raised the bar for what I thought was possible in a grocery.

If you live in the South side of Eugene, there's a couple of choices of grocery stores .... Market of Choice is one of them. It's definitely higher priced than the chain grocery stores, but has a bit larger selection. They have a nice deli and meat section. They also have a very large wine and beer section. Staff is friendly and helpful. Everything is okay, but you will walk outta there, spending twice as much as Safeway or Albertsons.
