Awake Coffee House

First time there, after the trail walking at Larch Sanctuary. The setting was not bad. bright and clean. The drip coffee was average. The Bacon, Egg, and Gouacamole bubble waffle was OK. However the service was no good, not up to standard. The young lady didn't smile at all. Also, she banged the cups and dishes in the kitchen sink so loud. I thought my wife and I could enjoy a cup of coffee and have a relaxing moment there. Instead, I was so annoyed by the banging noise many times. I have been to many coffee shops. But this one, for sure I would not go back there again.

Coffee was ok. However, the service was great and it's neat that it's in a pharmacy if you need one.

A nice hidden place! I enjoyed the buble waffle (I had the oreo flavor) and an Ice Americano. It was sweet and good. I will come back :)
The cool part is if you have a pharmacy run, you can get it there 😉 a small shop, but cozy.

The specialty drink...was mediocre. Service was mediocre. The atmosphere was strange as it's in a pharmacy but even its advertised pictures leave out any pictures that show it's inside a pharmacy. But the service was mediocre at best. Took longer compared to other places. It was not a welcoming warm experience and then the cost was the most expensive oat milk vanilla latte I've ever paid in all of Edmonton or any other city I have personally been to. Seeing as the big brand competitions such as Starbuck & Blenz, or Second Cup & Remedy. Advertising a specialty cafe is not just selling a coffee but you're selling an experience. Another disappointing experience and a mediocre drink in one year of being in Edmonton.

Cute little cafe. Enjoyed the egg sandwich on the bubble waffle- it was interesting and included ample amounts of bacon and guacamole. Great portion size. The candy cane seasonal latte was really good! A nice quiet environment to get work done with table and bench seating. Outlets available. Cafe shares a location with a pharmacy which was okay but a little strange.

Slightly disappointed with this place... Or perhaps I had higher expectations. The food was OK... OK meaning the quality just isn't there. It's not prepared through a kitchen but put together quickly behind the coffee counter. We had the Buffalo chicken waffle and the chicken was like that pre cooked salty, spongy sort of texture. The flavors were a really salty without a whole lot of flavor. The other one we had was the oreo, which was OK as well. Just didn't blow away my tastbuds. The Cafe decor is cute but it's sort of weird because it shares its space with a pharmacy, walk in clinic sort of place. I wouldn't say that this place was horrible or anything, the presentation of the food was great, it was clean, good coffee... I just wouldn't go back.

Delicious waffles. Head over to snag one during the weekends! They offer cards for many occasions, they are all very cute. This café is literally right beside a pharmacy which is a bit odd. Small area but reservations can be made. Overall, friendly employees and great food. Will definitely come back for more!
