Located at the highest point in Brooklyn, Battle Hill offers panoramic views of the city skyline. It was the site of the Battle of Brooklyn during the American Revolution in 1776.
Minerva, Bernstein, Ebbets. All within steps of each other. And in the distance Lady Liberty giving us a how do you do to Minerva returning the wave. Don’t forget to pick-up a detailed map at the front gate at the 25th St and 5th Ave Gothic Gateway entrance.
Some amazing views to be had here on a clear day, a vast graveyard which in itself is an amazing place to visit.
Battle Hill is the highest point in Brooklyn, so you can get a great vantage point of the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan.
There is a fine view of New York City from this vantage point.
Love bringing visitors to Battle Hill. Others have mentioned, this is the highest elevation in Brooklyn and its history. The view to the harbor and lower Manhattan is lovely. And such an unexpected vista for Brooklyn. The 6 white cherry blossoms lining Battle Avenue are breathtaking when in bloom.
