Level two resides a cafe serving terrific toast , coffee, iced tea and breakfast

Old mall with a great coffee toast shop inside. The rest of the mall is for you to explore! Many old school businesses.

A very old plaza which is way past its glory but it's interesting to see shops that you wouldn't be able to find elsewhere.
The only reason ppl travel to this mall now would be for Bao Er Cafe which serves amazing kaya toast, and also decent hokkien mee depending on your luck as the quality fluctuates terribly...

Ordered the Kaya Toast set not bad choice. Drink was just nice not so sweets. The toast is sweet and savory. Need to go early as limited seat available.

Aircon was powerful and sufficient for the extremely hot weather when I visited, premises was decently clean too, well managed for a mall this size.

Went there during weekday for a first time, as the place looks just been renovated.
Not too bad, however it's not so crowded. Probably weekend will be though.
Should go try a cafe called Two Bake Boys, the cakes made like the crepes with different flavours.

Balestier Plaza is an old Commercial cum residential building. One of the well known buildings on Balestier road. Though it has commercial space for 2 floors, it is not like a regular shopping mall. There are 2-3 eateries, light houses, beauty salons, agencies and offices. Most of the floors are residential units with car parking at basement. Located beside Shaw Plaza and nearest MRT is Toa Payoh or Novena.
