Been coming here for over 35 years however more recently and increasingly obvious here is that staple items such as eggs and milk and other items seem to be always out of stock on normal week days forcing me to go elsewhere.
This store has become a place

The pharmacy staff are in need of some serious customer service training, they do not even have the basics it’s absolutely disgraceful. If I could leave - 0 I would.
Probably the worst Asda store for customer service in the UK. Absolutely ignorant, arrogant even abusive staff members who don't seem to realise that even a basic level of customer service might be enough to keep customers. The member if staff on self serve checkouts couldn't be worst if they'd tried, I was expecting Jeremy Beadle to jump out in the end it was so bad.

How can some of the stuffs be so RUDE and almost not helpful at all?! Why renting the frustration of the work to me? I’m not the one who force only two people to deal with all the problems on twenty self service machines that always get frozen 🙄️. One star for the really nice stuffs I’ve met before but obviously I am not that lucky most of the time
I love Asda but thier cigarette counter is so time consuming it took 15 minutes to buy cigarette papers it should be cigarettes and daily papers only not baskets full of shopping.get it sorted.
Enough parking free for 3 hours when you shop for 5 £. Reasonable variety of groceries and wine

Today I waited for 20 minutes while the one team members worked with another customer and ended up giving up and going to self scan. All of a sudden other staff seem interested that the shop and scan till had been abandoned to which I went over and explained why.. no apology.. no interest in helping just generally poor customer service.
I even advised the person running the shop and scan that they would need to clear the till - to which I was blanked by them with no response.
While I may shop in store again I certainly won't be touching the shop and scan with a barge pole. On ALL of my experiences it has been far slower.

I was walking to the cheese and yoghurt isle when a member of staff started breakdancing and did a 360 degree backflip then PROCEEDED to offer me a chippy meal with curry sauce and cheesy chips then everyone started dancing and performed the George. advert in a beautifully synchronised manor, I stood there giving a standing ovation and they gave me free parking. Good. I saw my mate Chantelle and she did a backflip and hit the griddy .As Chantelle hit the griddy, the energy in the air was electric. Soon, more people joined in, forming a spontaneous dance circle. Laughter and cheers filled the aisle as the impromptu dance party continued. Chantelle's backflip had set off a chain reaction of dance moves, each more impressive than the last. It was as if the entire store had transformed into a lively celebration of music and movement. Even the other shoppers couldn't resist tapping their feet and swaying to the rhythm. As the music reached its peak, Chantelle pulled you into the center of the circle, inviting you to show off your own moves. With a mix of excitement and nerves, you decided to join in, contributing your unique style to the dance-off. The energy was infectious, and you found yourself dancing like never before. The store had turned into a joyful spectacle, and you realized that sometimes the most unexpected moments can become the most memorable ones.

Not the biggest branch of ASDA so not all lines stocked. New layout inside makes aisles narrow and cramped
Absolutely disgusting! Always come to this place most of the staff know me and I've never been dealt with so shocking in all my life. One girl hadnt seen my ID which was fine I said most of the superstore have seen this, I'm a regular. The manager then come down and had an awful attitude on her to the point of me actually swearing which isn't usually in my nature. I've always used this superstore and very reluctant going back in now because of the way this was dealt with. I've never been pushed off like that. Felt a bit like asda doesn't appreciate the people that come into them everyday.
Theres a pouch of Nescafe Gold Blend in the coffee aisle that hasn't had a price on the shelf in 2 months (21/7 you have replied and STILL NO PRICE ON IT SINCE JUNE 1ST) 28th july still no price
The rude staff make the experience even worse rather drive down the hill to the other Asda way better staff products and shopping experience.

The bike park is not really fit for purpose. It looks like someone thought “oh, we need a bike parking place here” and stuck one in the corner of the car park. There should be dropped kerbs all around to gain access but instead I have to negotiate a kerb first to get in then a kerb down into it. It should be accessible like their staff bike parking lockers with dropped kerbs all around, (though, in all the years that I have been going there for years, I have yet to see anyone either locking their bike up or taking a bike out.
The motorbike parking is no better really as there is no posts to secure your motorbike to. I would never take mine there and besides you have to first get round the cars that shouldn’t be park there in the first place!

Asda long site superstore was a very good sending items. It isn't that big as others as does. But it will do the job and you will find everything you need and so did I. But the one thing I don't like about this is the same thing every time there is long lines what type of self checkout? It's not that busy
Had to join more shoppers to find a trolley today before i could shop, again! Was face with a topless man while buying my fruit and veg, not a pretty sight why is this allowed. This was saturday 10th June around 2pm.
Very poor customer service. usually visits this store since long time for shopping and "click and collect" services. On may 31st@ 12.45 pm, i visit this store for collecting online parcel. I waited nearly half an hour until an employee came and given the parcel. Meantime while i wait at store i spoke with two employes, both heard my concern and said a colleague will come shortly. Last time when i use the "click and collect "

An unreliable Asda that doesn’t have everything that I need, and can be overly busy for such a small place… makes me prefer other stores much more but it is what it is. It can be fine for light incidental shopping however
This place just gets worse and worse. Complete lack of products available, absolutely no shopping trolleys in the place, other than the lucky 5 or so people that managed to get one, making doing a shop incredibly difficult!!

Good shopping experience, wide variety of stock. I do like the self service machines for fast service, easy to use and no fuss. Great clothing section for men even suit and ties! Wow.. and upstairs cafe' as well. If I lived closer I would use it more often, good value compared to other stores, nice layout. Booze, lottery tickets, meal deals, smartphones, cashpoints, A bit of everything is going on there.. If the main town shuttered up for good and we still had asda, I wouldn't be too fussed, the needs of the people are served well here. Staff are helpful as well. Reccomended.
Very well laid out. Clean, really helpful staff and the toilets were spotless! The only thing I had trouble with was parking, it's a big parking area, but very very busy on the day I used it. Wouldn't put me off returning to it again though.
Small but good store. Sadly I was overcharged for some items that I need to return. The checkout operator was too busy chatting to be a friendly face. Hmm 🤔
There is an older gentleman who works on tills , was very happy to be working. His name was Dave. He made shopping actually enjoyable. 😀
Just popped in as they had an M&S, have to share what lovely staff they have here. So helpful and happy. Love places that have friendly service, makes this BP extra special.
Your 'fresh' pastries are anything but fresh. I'm not sure what has happened over the last few months, but they are definitely yesterday's pastries. I have been calling in on my way to work each day to buy them for my boss and myself. This week we decided we won't be buying them again. Full price for a stale pastry. Yuk, no thanks!
Ordered delivery for saturday... didnt turn up. I had no notification or email saying it had been cancelled i had to chase up myself. Got told they would cancel the order and then i would have to put another payment on for the order again and then wait 5 days for my money back. Advised that dont have the funds to pay that amount again as it was a big shop and i cant afford to wait a week for our families food shop? Spoke with manager and arranged for next morning which didnt arrive i chased again and got told that they need to check with store and will call back at 2pm... 2:30 still no call so chased again. Told delivery will arrive between 7 and 10pm tonight. 930 i call up and advise its getting close to 10pm wheres my delivery to be told they will chase up store (store is closed on a sunday early) but they stated will call back... 10:15pm no delivery again had to chase... got told delivery wont be there and that they had cancelled my order earlier in the day anyway. I stated that they had lied to me about a delivery to which they agreed that they had made a mistake. I stated that i was unhappy with how i was treated to which was responded with and i quote "no worries its gonna be sorted"... i stated that i have worries as i have a family to support again and i want compensation... to which i was told... no compensation as they feel they havnt done anything wrong... raising with trading standards and citizens advise absolutely appauling customer service.

It used to be great, but now it's going downhill. Many times now, there was only 1 or no available cash self checkouts. They constantly move things around, making it very confusing to shop. The prices are great, the staff is good but they need to fix their self checkout and stop moving things around all the time.
I do enjoy shopping at Asda as their prices are very reasonably. However I went in today to get some shopping and had a £1 off voucher if I spend £10 instore from parking in their car park. The voucher I had was from a previous visit when I paid to park and the cashier would not except it due to the car park voucher not being the same date. Clearly from the picture it does not say that I could not use it on another day from when I originally parked.
Will try charging you extra ,guy tried charging me £3.89 for a bottle of Sprite,absolutely a rip off , Petrol is expensive than other stations ,and they will short change you ,be careful.
I am absolutely livid with this store. My family have just been evicted (landlord selling the house) we have had a gruelling month of packing and moving. Two of our children have disabilities, we are carers and life is incredibly difficult without house moves and Christmas on top. We have no heating, no hot water, I’ve got pneumonia from this whole ordeal. It has been the worst situation of our lives. All we wanted was a nice Christmas, the children have not had one at all. We have worked so hard to get the house sorted in 2 days ready for Christmas Day. The reason I have told you all this is to make you understand how badly we needed a nice Christmas after the awful, terrible month we have had. Wake up this morning and go to prep dinner with the £30 turkey I bought from you .. open it and it is absolutely RANCID. I have nothing to feed our guests - 10 people you have left without food. It had a sell by date of the 27th but it has not been stored properly. The smell is still lingering in my kitchen. You have completely ruined Christmas Day. I will never spend any money in that store again and I urge other customers to think twice over trusting this store to provide safe, fresh food on such a special day. Don’t let this store ruin your Christmas like it has ours!

Unbelievable experience this evening at the click and collect, I got there at 17.30 (should have been ready between 4-5) as my order on the app wasn’t showing to find out what the issue was only to find two other customers had been waiting for over an hour without anyone updating them as to what was going on.
I went into the store to speak to a manager and the helpful staff on customer service went to ask for the store Manager, Mr Gill who would not come to speak to me. (Apparently it wasn’t his department!)
I went back to the gate and spoke to the person called Martin again and he actually said to me he was sick of people moaning at him about it and then ignored me to speak to delivery collection driver. When I asked him to get someone to come out to speak to me and tell me what was going on no one would and he then just shrugged his shoulders.
Eventually after I went back into the store the lady in charge of click and collect spoke to me to apologise and mine was finally ready. I was shocked to learn on my arrival home that lots of items were missing such as washing powder and bananas yet the store must have them in stock!
It would have been quicker and better customer service to just tell me they can pick the order snd I’d have done the shopping myself!
This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced with clearly no leadership in place. I won’t be shopping here again after over 3 years of using this service.

Love this service station - including the availability of M&S food (good range), and staff always friendly and pleasant - fun and smiling whenever I visit, and always on hand to help, great service great food great staff

For fuel is a good place but for food is a bad choice, we brought some Samosas there and all then are with that disgusting green fluffy when the food goes bad expire date was 26th July...
Hi can you please tell me why the petrol station is shut at at 8am and 3.30 in the afternoons. Excact times where 7.52 am and 15.38 pm . Twice I have called for petrol at different times on different day and its been shut. Is this a regular occurance or are you having issues . Never has any issues before ?
I arrived at Redish Asda petrol station at 9.45/49pm - online its stated you close at 10pm. When I arrived at the petrol station which was coned off and a gentleman with a large white beard was in the hut. I approached him and asked if the petrol station closes at 10pm as I need fuel to go to work tomorrow and this petrol station was the cheapest one in the area, he told me to go else where as he has to close at 9.45 so he has time to close everything down. If you close at 9.45 then it should state this online to accommodate to your staffs comfort. I am quite frustrated to be quite honest, I drove 3 miles to your petrol station only to find out it was closed and then to be spoken to in a demeaning tone. I work shifts in the NHS and this was the only time I was able to get fuel that day, but he told me about a garage round the corner which was over 10p more than Asda.... Thanks 👍🏽. If I wanted to put in over priced fuel I wouldn't have driven 3 miles out😑
JULY 18th 2023 - CAR PARK STAIRWELLS ARE FILTHY AND THEY SMELL LIKE SOMETHING HAS DIED IN THEM. JULY 22nd IT GETS WORSE, NOW THE FLOOR 2 DOOR GLASS IS BROKEN AND THE HANDLE IS FALLING OFF. WHY HASN'T SOMEONE FROM THE STORE RESPONDED AS THEY HAVE DONE FOR OTHER REVIEWS? DO THEY ONLY RESPOND TO POSITIVE REVIEWS? I have been posting on this subject for months. See photos.
Quite good choice. Some different things not seen in other supermarkets.

First time visit to this place. The store had everything we needed and plenty of self-service rolls (for cash and card payments).

Given the place a few chances, but the prices not matching the shelf edge tickets, ridiculous fuel prices compared to others locally and the general demeanour of staff (maybe I’ve been in on a bad day) have made it an easy decision to go elsewhere.
Called last night to pick up a "too good to go" was told they had none to give. I was a bit put out as it was second night in a row that it had been cancelled but this time I had travelled to get the goods. I was sent a message to say it was cancelled after I got home but I haven't had a refund? This is the second time it's been cancelled and no refund. Won't be bothering again. Staff were apologetic though
Thought car park was 2 hours so was not bothered when stuck in store waiting for heavy hail storm to pass. Parking Eye ticket now for half hour overstay! Should be free parking if they want to encourage shoppers.
Once again this place is shut by 8pm, 2 hours before the stated time on Google maps and on the store door! Staff inside packing shelves but refuse to open the door. Disgraceful. Went here to wash my car. Put £7 in the jet wash. The lance pressure was absolutely rubbish, there was pressure but just not enough to get any dirt off the car. Ended up putting another £2 in as I was having to use the brush for so long. Rinse pressure was rubbish also. Went in afterwards and complained to the guy behind the till. He said “so your car is washed?” I said yes, but it took ages and it’s not actually clean because your lance won’t remove any dirt! He asked what I wanted!! I said maybe a refund or part refund. I am not a complainer normally. Said yes speak to the manager. Went in the back. Girl comes out says she’s standing in for the manager and has no access to the safe!!!!!! Said I could come back Monday and see the manager!! Asked if they will close the car wash so others don’t use it, she just shrugged! I told a guy waiting not to bother using it!!Absolutely rubbish customer service, staff seriously don’t car.

I am a disabled driver. I Queued up for petrol there last Saturday, they informed me they only had super unleaded petrol in stock, so I put £20 in. As soon as I left the forecourt after paying, my engine (running perfectly before) started clipping and stalling. I struggled to get it home but after it had been parked for a while it would not start when I went back to it. I called out a breakdown service who couldn't find the problem and in the end had to have the car towed to my local garage. My garage later informed me they had to completely drain the fuel tank and change all of the spark plugs as it had been filled with "dodgy" petrol which wouldn't even burn when they tested it afterwards. Consequently I was left with a hefty repair bill. When I looked online for the station's telephone number in order to complain it came back as "number not recognised". Luckily I paid by card so the payment was recorded. My garage have retained the petrol they drained off and I am seriously thinking of taking this to trading standards. One week later and they haven't even bothered replying to my review...

Used them Saturday, seemed easy enough, would of given 5 stars but could only get £20 notes out.

Live local to site which if I’m honest is scruffy and poorly maintained (grass etc) staff are ok till you have an issue if its M&S they work for BP & vice versa.

Yet again the large girl refused to fix the coffee machine saying it’s not her job this is the second time she has point blank refused to put milk in the coffee machine at this bp 24hr services getting on the motorway tired is never good so you pull off for a coffee like your told to and just get spoken to rudely
A small well stocked Shell garage. Don't be fooled by the Spar, Starbucks and other logos, it's a tiny shop. But overall I would call and get fuel from here if passing.
Apart from higher prices of fuel, it is convenient shop. Staff are friendly thought sometime tills are bit slow. Shop has M&S food store. Toilet facilities available. On the go coffee available. Lots of sugary chocolates and sweet on sale - which is a thumbs down.
Food shopping is slot more money than your day to day supermarkets

Not a bad store but toilet facilities should be around especially for disabled. On a bad point I thought that Asda had a policy that no longer provide plastic bags for fruit and veg.
Waited 20 mins for staff to come back to serve.sign read back in 5.wanted to fill wagon up and was running late. Other people complaining. Must of lost hundreds of pounds in missed sales.never go again.

I was very satisfied with what I experienced today at Barclays Bank in Stockport. Very impressed with the service. I learnt that I could get up to £2000 cash from the machine inside the bank that is great news and very handy. Thank you Barclays.
