Amazing park. I see deers very often and have the chance to stroll along with them, as they are usually close to footpaths. Great place to fish. Highly recommended.

This is a very basic country park with a river running through it. There are quite a few different paths to take but most are in extreme need of maintenance, as are the steps (there are about 4 sets). It is very muddy in places unless the weather has been dry for some considerable time. There is a free car park with space for about 20 cars, there are also bins there. There are no toilets and no children's play area. There is an odd bench but no picnic benches. Good place for a walk with the dog, especially if they enjoy swimming and it's highly likely you will encounter other people with dogs. There have been a couple of the 'bag bins' put up as the only proper bins are at the car park, but they're full more often than not. You could probably manage a walk with a sturdy pram but not wheelchair friendly.
If you're lucky you may see some deer or ducks.

Since this review some of the paths have received some maintenance, but some are still in desperate need.

A lovely small country park with Bradshaw brook running right through the middle of it with paths on either side enabling you to do a circular walk in f you wish. There is also a large area of grassland with paths where you can let your dog have a good run. There is a small car park on Winchester Way or at the other side on Bury Road there’s only room for 2 cars. Overall a nice park for a little stroll in all seasons .

Always clean an tidy for the horse show events on a Saturday and Sunday. Even if you don't have a horse still pop on to the field and enjoy some of the fun and entertainment.
