The NoMa Harris Teeters is a convenient option for this neighborhood, and it's a viable alternative to Giant. Both establishments offer comparable customer service and pricing, which is why I have awarded it with three stars. It could benefit from additional cashier staff.
Too busy harassing paying customers for receipts, that they can’t retrieve shopping carts or hand baskets. It does not matter what time you go there will be no carts. Work on improving the overall customer experience rather than treating people like criminals.
Lovely supermarket with lots of food and accessories
Nice grocery store, a short walk away from my hotel. Very clean and neat. Prices are pretty pricey. Make sure you sign for the card to enjoy their savings.
The Good: it’s an inner city grocery store that manages to stay relatively clean and well stocked.
The Bad: They’ve started checking every single receipt at the front of the grocery store. It’s highly obnoxious, and that alone seems to have driven off a bunch of customers. The checkout lines have been perpetually shorter since the rule was instituted. However the biggest reason for my 2 star review is that they NEVER have carts available at the front anymore. I’m not sure if they decided to fire their cart collectors or what, but it makes it almost impossible to shop for anything you can’t carry with you.

Cake didn't register correct price. Young lady who assisted was quick to help. She was very kind,matter fact after helping someone else needed assist. The young lady immediately help the other customers!
Harris Teeter is my go-to for groceries and more. The staff is friendly, the stores are clean and well stocked and the discounts are great!
I am a Harris Teeter VIC (Very Important Customer) member which gives me access to even more benefits such as fuel rewards. Last time I filled up my car I got 20 cents off per gallon! That can go all the way up to a dollar if you do enough shopping at Harris Teeter.
While at the store I picked up some beautiful yet affordable flowers. I also bought my own rosemary plant that I will use to cook the filet I purchased last night. I expect it to come out great!
I still need a new meat thermometer and Harris Teeter has several available so I plan to make another trip today.
