Good meal and service for our celebrations

A 9 hole course that won’t allow you to book 9 holes. Course was in okay condition but unhappy with the lack of booking flexibility. Won’t return.

Nine hole course in good condition, enjoyed all the holes except the first, which is a long blind tee shot along a steeply sloping fairway which honestly I didn't enjoy, would have preferred it as a shorter par three. Greens and fairways in good condition considering the long wet season we've had. Bar was friendly and the food was good. Quite scenic with long views from a number of holes.

Bev and Linda have provided Beacon Friendship Group with delicious food for Christmas and birthday dinners and afternoon tea. Lovely atmosphere and we have been well looked after.

Although a 8 Hole Course (two sets of Tees for 18 Holes), this is a very good Course with a number of challenging holes (especially 9th / 18th). A very friendly golf club and definitely worth visiting / playing if in the Stoke / Stone / Uttoxeter area.

Really liked it here. Despite it being winter and wet, the course was in great condition with 17 excellent greens and only 1 winter green. The members were friendly too. My only dislike is being told to remove my hat in the clubhouse - always a pointless rule, but at least they let women in now! Anyway, that's more a standard golf issue and this place was otherwise just a good course with nice people and I'd definitely recommend it.

The course was great for a 9 hole, 18 tee course. It was well kept (although the recent heatwave's effect could be seen - but no groundskeeper can change the weather). The clubhouse facilities looked complete (toilets, bar, changing rooms, and function room) but we didn't use them.
The reason this club attained a 5 star review was not for the, at the very least, adequate or good facilities but for the people. The members here were welcoming. Something that I don't always find at golf clubs. Coming from a town where all the local sports clubs are very welcoming means that it often highlights those that aren't. In this case it highlighted one that most definitely is.
We shall return soon as the only thing endangering their 5 star status was my golfing abilities (or lack thereof).
