To all the staff at Pyrford lakes golf club
You have delivered once again your hospitality was absolutely fantastic, everyone from the Old Ford golf society said it was a fantastic day, they were all extremely happy about the breakfast roll as normally any other course's give you the worst dry bacon roll ever but we were all impressed with the food,Sally was a great host aswel making sure everything was going well and if we needed anything else ,the free drinks on the course was a nice touch 😀.
The course was in great condition greens were true ,also the club house looks great, myself and the old Ford team will definitely book for 2024 many thanks to you all for a fantastic day.

A large golf complex well worth a visit. Played the 18 hole course. Some interesting holes . Played in a society price was good value for money. Highly recommend
Me and Little Dog stopped off for breakfast middle of our Sunday morning walk. What an amazing setting overlooking the lake, delicious and generous full English (minus carbs), and extremely friendly staff. What a treat - we'll definitely be back !!

Good Morning

I would just like to say thank you for yesterday
I played in the far from par golf event and would just like to say a huge thank you
To everyone especially the lady who helped with the food and coming out on the course to place the nearest the pin markers.
The club house is a fantastic set up brilliant vibe, I shall be looking to bring a few friends in the future to come check it out also.
The course was in fantastic condition considering the weather down poor we had, so hats off to all the green staff.

Please pass my thanks on to everyone thank you all so much

We played here with the One Oak society. The clubhouse is now a great place to eat, drink and watch any sports that are on. The staff are faultless and were extremely friendly. The whole package was fantastic and the food and attentiveness was especially great. All 20 golfers wish to return for another day out. The course itself is great but there are a few areas where i felt it could do with attention. These were some of the bunkers were inconsistent with sand and just off the greens there were mud patches rather than grass to play off. But overall a fantastic venue.

Beautiful setting and lovely food! Highly recommended. Great for families too.
We held my Dad's wake at Hoebridge and couldn't fault the care and respect from the staff. Tommy and team were fantastic. The food was very good and they lovingly set my Dad's memory table up. The funeral finished earlier than expected and they made us feel so welcome. Recommend. Thanks for everything

The golf course is in great condition and very tricky,it might look short but it plays longer than the yardage, also all the staff I met were very friendly and helpful, I will certainly recommend everyone to give it a try and I will be returning, oh one last thing the views are amazing
I had a fantastic time at Chobham Golf Club! The course was in perfect condition, with immaculate greens that made every hole a pleasure to play. Special thanks to Dave, Chris, and Joe for the enjoyable round together. Looking forward to my next visit!

Been coming here since I was a kid. Absolutely great place to learn and play golf.
Course is public but has a mix of challenging and easier holes - good test of golf for mid handicappers up. Would recommend to anyone wanting to ply with friends, afternoon tee slots are great value as well

Wonderful course with even more wonderful staff!
I went last weekend for a friends birthday and let me tell you, the greens were smooth but the chat was smoother. Special shoutout to the lovely Sally who made our day feel like I was in the final group at Augusta.
Food after was tip top, and I’m a fussy eater!!!
10/10, will definitely come again.

Short course (69) very well kept with some lovely & challenging holes. There are plenty of dog legs and a couple over water. As someone new to the game, I have thoroughly enjoyed playing there. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The facilities are to a good standard as is the food served in the bar.
First time visiting here. Good crazy golf section although very busy. I felt it could have been spread out a bit more but enjoyable.

Having been desperate to play the course for a number of years, I finally managed to take the society here for a golf day and it did not disappoint. Susan and and operations team made it super easy to book, meaning all our needs were met with minimal fuss. On the day the breakfast was really tasty and the options for all dietary requirements surpassed expectations.

The golf course is unbelievable and challenges all levels of handicap. It’s varied with a number of drivable, risk and reward par 4’s and some challenging, elevated par threes, often hitting into slopping, perfectly mannequined greens.

Would highly recommend this one.

Great golf course. Well looked after with some challenging holes. Lovely clubhouse too. Plenty of parking.
Great golf range with tracer technology!

A group of three of us went (we aren't local, hadn't booked and had never been to Hoebridge before) and were really impressed with the golf driving range!

The bays had everything - places to perch for players not hitting, menus for the bar and a screen for the shot tracer tech.

The screens let you do all the stuff modern tracer tech does with full ball tracking, virtual courses, mini games and more.

The staff were more than helpful in showing us where to go and getting set up having never been before but if we're in the area again, won't hesitate in going back.
Great course, every hole had its own style bunkers situated well and love playing over or around water makes it a real challenge

Really fun mini golf course for the kids with a great kids menu in the club. Perfect for a couple of hours in the good weather.
A stunning golf course with very pleasant staff. We were made to feel very welcome by everyone. A great day out . Thankyou
Enjoyed a fun time on the Pirate Golf today. A great place to have a family challenge game. Such a laugh.
The course looked amazing and was great to play. It plays longer than it looks from the yardage and wayward shots are penalised by the heather bordering most fairways.

Definitely worth playing if you get the chance.
Great course, 1st time here and parred first 2 holes and last 2, won't mention in-between! Many dog walkers but didn't get in the way, but lots of dog poo noted.

Great course. All the holes have different challenges. Thoroughly enjoyable.
A real gem. Course and Greens are fantastic at any time of the year.
Excellent grounds, very well kept.
The food menu in the restaurant is good and options for vegetarians as well.
Fantastic venue. Top course in Europe. You play with a caddy and they are very much needed. Course was stunning. From the moment you get there to the time you leave its a golfers dream.

What a little gem this is, went on a society never heard of it and it turns out to be a brilliant course, with a great history and lovely food. I will be back. Thank you.
Great revamped clubhouse with modern gallery bar and yet traditional golf club environment on the ground floor. Good course which is suitable for all categories of golfers. Affordable catering and friendly staff.

Well maintained course, pro shop don’t pack in flights meaning at steady stream of play with no hold up. Nice clean club house with great selection of food drink with a good dose of friendly members. Thank you
Excellent golf resort, 3 courses Main is 18 holes par 72, really tough, very challenging, very good greens, farways, good tee's and if you are not on the fairway, rough is less forgiving. The other 2 courses are very good, Shey is a nine hole for a short round after work when Main course is very busy and Short course 18 holes par 3 is very good for improving your short game. Clubhouse, Proshop and driving range are on a high level and all staff are very friendly and high professional (I'm a foreigner here, member from 2 years and I was always treated very well and polite). I highly recommend this one!
Fantastic.! Bunkers excellent and greens very true. A lovely venue

What a lovely golf course - great value, friendly staff, well packed pro shop and chatty members. Course was in great condition and greens superb. Forget about the people says “ oh too many dog walkers, if it were deer or rabbits running about people would say “oh how nice”

Another great golf course that starts with a W. The tees, fairways and greens are in the best condition of any course I’ve played so far this year. The course is always a joy to play even if the golf isn’t up to much. The staff and welcome are just as good these days. Our society was made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Play this course if you get the chance

On the day the fairways and greens were totally sodden.
Maybe we were just unlucky, playing a day or two after heavy rains.
Unsure if the drainage is adequate, or just too much of a deluge.
Took the edge off the day, I am sure on another occasion the course will show its true potential.
Excellent course, a credit to John and his team, currently undergoing extensive renovations to the garden 9
My second favourite golf course in the UK. Lovely place. Beautifully kept.
Lovely course set in the beautiful Surrey Hills. Greens in great condition, but disappointed with the condition of the fairways as they were a bit bare. Club house also very impressive.
Very traditional old English golf club that does everything superbly in an understated way. The course is always in fine condition and the lunch is legendary, although you will need a jacket and tie.

Very good course and facilities, easy course with a few long drive off the tees to hit fairways.
I enjoyed the golf course
I am a high handicapper.
The course was relatively dry after several days of rain.
So why 3 star?
I don’t like dogs and there were too many dog walkers for my liking
Also the parking is limited as you have to struggle with dog walkers
Having said that, beautiful views.
If not for the dog situation I will most certainly be coming back
Came here for a family event, really nice staff and it's in a great location, can't really give 5 stars I didn't come here for the golfing experience. However you can get some absolutely gorgeous photos no matter the weather.

Have played three times in the last year and all three 9’s. It is the best modern golf course that I have played in GB. The greens are sensational. The bunkers are very good with top quality sand that is consistent. All Par 3’s are so good and a challenge. I love the place.

Simply amazing.

Straight in to my personal favourites in England without a doubt. Beautiful tree lined holes with immaculately maintained greens. Sadly the heather was not in colour but the various flowering boarders where out in full glory especially surrounding the pond as you enter the club and that frames the 18th so well. A memorable evening of golf with some challenging par fours. I will return.

Having discovered one of my clients was a member and ex captain of Wisley and round has been on the cards for sometime and the wait was so worth it.

You know you are in for a treat as you stop and the gates to be allowed access and drive up the discreet, small lane leading to the club house that oozes exclusivity. There was staff everywhere from club house to practice facilities making sure you wanted for nothing. The course is simply stunning, we set out on Church which is a test of course management. The greens are just pure and the rough thick, lush and punishing. We then played Mill a much wider and friendly 9 that allowed us to open our shoulders off the tee and try to claw back the shots that church had taken from us. The wind was a massive factor and one that my playing parter says is one of Wisleys best defences, it certainly felt that way as I played later that day down the road in the same conditions and the wind did not effect play anywhere near as much. A course I will remember with utter fondness and hope to return to play again one day.

As one of the classic golfers once said…playing the first hole at Woking GC is like a warm handshake from an old friend….Tom Watson…
What makes a golf course a great course? Its so personal for many of us but arriving at the course at New Zealand it just looks epic.

It looks like Woburn meets Sunningdale. The club house is quaint and classy, small and personal heaped with history it looks like it hasn't been updated since it was built and that's its charm. New Zealand is my idea of a perfect inland course, huge pine trees lining most of the fairways with heather ready to scoop you up if you stray off the fairways. The greens are fantastic but slower than expected. The half way house is positioned strategically after the par 3 8th where we met Trevor who helped us maximise our golf for the day by suggesting we head up the 14th and loop back round, you can play all day if you wish and many of the people we met had indeed played two rounds. It is a course that will definitly leave you wanting to play it more so having the ability to play as much as you like was great. Stopping for a pint afterwards we had to try New Zealands own beer served of course in an old fashioned beer glass, I love it.
Loved this course beautiful holes and good greens. Number 465 on my list of courses played

Came today with our society (WEGS)
We had a totally excellent experience
The course was superb even in February
The food was 1st class top marks to the chef
The best carvery I have had for a very long time
Staff were friendly and attentive
Well done all round looking forward to next year.
Had our Christmas Dinner here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the place quiet for us to enjoy our meal without disturbance.
Whisley only accepts members or their guests. The building is very sophisticated and modern inside. The golf course is strategically placed with ponds and rivers, making it very difficult. The golf course is of the highest quality and is well maintained. Francesco, who won the major championship his Molinari, trains here.
When everywhere else flooded this was open and in great nick. Excellent course with a range of challenging holes, each eith a different character.
First time I’ve played here. Course in great condition. Friendly staff in clubhouse and shop. Great roast. Definitely worth a visit.
A nice members club. Food always excellent here. The course was looking good and playing well although long in the wetter autumn conditions. Greens were a bit on the slow side but it had rained a lot recently and I played late in the afternoon. Well worth a visit.

One of the most beautiful and spectacular courses in England, and by extension, in Europe.
Perfectly groomed as it is, even in winter conditions it offers a fine challenge to play.
Club house and restaurant have held up very well to their highly regarded reputation.
Always a pleasure to be invited to play here.

If you’re used to subordinates, this is your place. Car, clubs and shoes all taken care of from minute one, bar in the changing room, Pro-V1s on the range. Americanised and lacking self-made culture. However the caddies and greens are sensational, probably not bettered anywhere within the British Isles.

Great course. Relatively short but contours are interesting and the views are superb. Greens can be challenging at times and generally conditions are decent considering its winter time. Clubhouse / Pro shop staffs are friendly and have all the necessary facilities like the practice areas. Need to be aware of the general public walking around though. Highly recommended and can't wait to get back there in the summer. Big shoutout to Adrian for hosting us on the day. And by the way what a lovely pint of Guinness!
Great course in excellent condition especially for this time of year
what a great golf course steeped in tradition staff very helpful another must for the golfer seeking quality
Nice little golf club with a course harder than you would expect from a first view.
The heather is deep and rough!
Quiet little clubhouse with a nice rural feel.
West Byfleet Golf club is a fine Golf course in very good condition. The clubhouse is comfortable and a mentioned must go to the Pro Shop here as it has to be one of the best in the country. They even service and repair electric golf carts and there aren't too many clubs that can boast that.
One of the best - a fantastic course, very friendly staff, and a great clubhouse atmosphere and dining/drinks area overlooking the course at the 4th green.

Invited to play the course with my nephew Matt Spink as a 70th birthday gift.
A wonderful day. The best golf facilities and course I have ever experienced.
This is a club steeped in history. Sir A Conan Doyle a past member among others who's names still adorn the lockers.
The course is in fantastic condition, and is a true test of golf with gorse and heather lined fairways and greens that run true and fast. If you ever get the chance.....play it, you will not be disappointed.

I was not expecting a pre-booked room and food with this view to be available at a Golf Club. As this was for a funeral, it was quite a sensitive time. However the atmosphere was relaxing and we were welcomed by a members only club and the food was fantastic. It far exceeded my expectations and from what I heard it is of great value too for price per head and room hire. The only suggestion would be to have something sweet, it may be an extra or they don't offer it I'm not sure as I didn't book it. The facilities are very nice, bathrooms and changing rooms are of a high standard and the view is great looking over the 1st and 18th holes. The room is of decent size and can accommodate 25 people max i would say.

Great course but a brilliant little caff on the 9th, cold drinks, hot food and great craic from Catriona
The Wisley is a golfing experience for the connoisseur. Having played lots of top courses around the world, The Wisley was different. It's hard to explain in what ways, you are better off trying to get an invite from a member. I was fortunate to be invited to play by one of the Tour Pro members, and I watched in awe as he struck 9 birdies, with a few "left out there" too. Lunch was terrific, I had the Pad Thai, which was as good as any Thai restaurant I've been to. I look forward to going back and hopefully not losing as many balls in the water! Beg, borrow or steal an invite...you won't be disappointed.

One of the oldest golf clubs in the U.K. In a delightful setting. Gorgeous old clubhouse with excellent dining and service. The golf course is sensational.
Really nice golf course which you need to think your way around......would love to play there a second time as I'm sure it would be better. Great greens and lush fairways 😊
If you are invited as a guest, just go and enjoy. The club is understated and simply gorgeous. Caddys are as good as it gets. The 4 hour walk is terrific and, oh yes, the course is interesting and perfectly maintained. I borrowed a set of clubs and they were so good I would have bought them but for the shipping back to Palm Beach.
