GUST Swim School Ltd

Both my son and daughter attend GUST. The swim school is 5 stars and we enjoy the classes and the teaching style. They focus more on the children having fun and letting them develop their technique via different activities independently it keeps the children engaged and they are always happy to be in the pool... My children are ages 18 months and 4 years old and they both LOVE it. They also encourage pre-school children to be independent in the pool i.e. they are expected to swim without the parent in their pool to build their confidence and understand swimming safety and so on. They do rely on floating aids for this i.e. armbands and/or shark fin. My youngest has swam before but this is his first swimming school. My 4 year old has been attending swimming lessons since she was around 15 months old and. They have both been with GUST since April when we moved to the Eccleshall area. The only reason for the three stars is the flexibility... in previous swim schools (Water Babies and Swim with Style for example) if my child could not attend for any reason on that day they would let us know if they had any other available classes that week or let my child do two sessions the following week depending on availability but GUST does not offer this option at all. I understand it might not always be feasible if parents do not inform you that they will not be attending but in the case it is it would be nice if that was an option as sometimes you have no choice but to miss the class and their classes are quite expensive I currently pay £16.25 per lesson (£65 a month) for each child so would be ideal to get your money's worth. For now though, I really like the organisation, the staff are lovely and I would like my children to stay because they really enjoy it.

I took my 20 month old grandson for the free session yesterday, I knew as soon as we entered the building we would be signing up for the course and that's exactly what we did post session. My grandson cried initially but he soon overcome and worries he had with Woody who soon put him at ease and was soon playing with the generous amount of toys. It's has everything you need free parking vending machine for refreshments easy changing areas with shower facilities and friendly staff. Truly can't wait for him to start properly next week.

We attended our FREE trial today. After a disappointing experience with another swim school, we decided to find somewhere else. We were so impressed with GUST from the moment we walked in! It was very clean and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The changing facilities are amazing, it's lovely and warm for when the babies are getting changed before and after the lesson. Our instructor Ruen (sorry not sure how to spell it) was very happy and engaging with the babies. Our little boy wouldnt take his eyes off him 🙈 We have signed up to continue lessons with GUST.

The instructor was brilliant, can really see a difference now he's having his lessons at GUST.
Place is spotless and staff very helpful.

Just started taking my 3 month old here and he loves it. Staff are super friendly and the instructor we had was very reassuring and wonderful with the babies. Classes are kept small and lessons are fun and interactive to help babies get used to the water. Would definitely recommend and have already told others about GUST Swim School.

I went for teacher training recently and it was great! Gareth was a professional and well put together course leader who genuinely cared about others and wanted everyone on the course to do well. The swim school itself was clean and large, it was easy to navigate and was actually really interactive for the children...even I found myself getting changed in the changing rooms whilst reading facts about seahorses, the changing facility's are roomy to make it easier for child- parent duos for the little ones who need help getting ready for their lesson, the pool was warm and really large so lessons will not be cramped. The staff I met there were all really kind and just happy in general to be in their jobs, I felt welcomed and happy to be there.

Fantastic swimming school! Very pleased with the instructors,the way they tailor their teaching according to each child.I am very pleased with my child's progress and the fact that he enjoys coming for swimming lessons every week.Facilities are clean, appropriate resources and plenty of staff around at all times. Highly recommend it!
