The store is small with limited parking. They don’t have a huge selection of books or home goods. This is the place for sporting equipment especially kids’ ski stuff and lacrosse. I find some hidden gems here: Hunter Wellies with the inserts NWT, a Nanette Lepore Coat, Ann Mashburn dress and blouses, Veronica Beard scuba blazer, a lot of boys’ lacrosse tournament pinnies from holidays I cut up and framed from here. I find good outerwear for women here too. It’s very best and clean and the staff here have exceptional customer service and are always willing to help. This is my favorite local Goodwill.

Very disappointed this morning! I just moved and I have a lot of kitchen stuff, clothes (4/5 bags), shoes (3 bags), rugs and other items to donate. In Georgia every time I called for pickup, I was never charged. Here in VA I’m being told to pay $270 for pick up which is interesting to me. As I’m asking questions as to why I should pay if I’m donating to the store, I representative hung up on me. This is not how I expect Goodwill to do business.

I decided to shop for work clothes and thought I’d stop by after being disappointed by Current Boutique down the street.

I spent $58 for a Calvin Klein skirt, a LL Bean shirt, a suede dress coat and a J Crew skirt (plus some another skirt.) I feel like I got a great deal for these items and they were all is great condition.

I got there around 7pm so once I collected all my goodies they announced they would be locking the dressing rooms. I just kinda stood by the stalls thinking how I could ensure my treasures would fit, but two employees noticed me looking distressed and asked if I wanted to try them on. Of course I said I would really appreciate that, so they unlocked one and let me in, even though I fully expected them to keep the stalls closed.

Everyone at the store was very kind and helpful, and the store itself was very clean and overall pretty organized. Some of the dress sizes were mixed into the wrong spots, but that’s my only complaint.

I will be stopping by again!

I went to the store today, they asked me to round up, I said no thank you. They round me up anyways and when I mentioned it they were so rude like if it was my mistake.
I can understand the accidental round up but I don't understand their attitude.

This has to be a joke. The prices here are outrageous!!!! This store is charging as if it’s new or greater than it would cost as a new item. You are suppose to be helping your community. Remember these items where donated for those in need. Store manager needs a reality check! Please drive the extra mile and visit the other goodwill. That place is amazing!

I have been to ALOT of Goodwills and while this one is by no means the worst it is certainly close. This is largely due to the abnormally large ‘botique’ section of the up-charged items that are almost all barely worth $5-$10 if not worthless (refer to attached picture of $15 used boxers)
In terms of cleanliness & organization:
4.5/5
Variety of quality hard goods: 4/5
Quantity & quality of Womens clothing: 4/5
Men’s clothing: 2.5/5
Price: 0/5

I was here last week and bought a dress from a somewhat upscale brand. I got home and quickly realized the item had a hole on the front as long as my thumb. I paid $9 plus tax for this item, which is in my opinion pretty high. This item should not have been on the floor. I also saw them selling blatantly fake Gucci shoes for $70 displayed right at the front of the store near the door. Last time I shop here. They shouldn’t rip people off like this. One time about a year or so ago I came here when they had obviously just fumigated the store, and they were letting people walk around despite it smelling strongly of fumes. It gave me a headache and made me nauseous, and I’m not usually super sensitive to chemicals. I have to wonder how that was for the employees, who are usually working at Goodwill because they can’t leave and get hired elsewhere. Two stars because occasionally there are good finds here, but overall prices are way too high for the type of things you’ll find.
