Writing this after I was told that the store was already closed even though it’s before 6 PM. Came in at exactly 553 and was told that the store was closed even though it closes at 6 PM. I only wanted to quickly look for something but I guess you can’t walk in seven minutes before the store closes. If you were going to close your store at 5:53, you should close your store at 5:53 not say that it’s closed at 6 PM. if I’m expected to leave by 6 PM, I’ll leave by 6 PM, but don’t kick me out eight minutes before the store is set to close. Horrible customer service won’t be won’t be back..
I style celebrities and just need a quick token and came to this location and with 15minutes before closing this location refuse to open their doors, very poor etiquette for what this community needs. Save your time and go else where. Clothing looks outdated and cheap anyways.
The volunteers are so sweet and helpful. There are so many treasures to be found. Everything I purchased was lovely. I was so impressed I decided to become a volunteer in the store.
I love this little thrift. I wish they had more hours and took credit cards, but that’s what makes the hunt even more rewarding when the stars align.
Angel view in the past was my favorite thrift store to shop . Great prices and a variety of interesting items. The thing that the store offered and the reason why I always returned and donated was the sales people; they were all so friendly, always with a smile . Not sure what happened ; maybe new owners and definitely new sales people . The store now is not worth the time to visit. The workers have a bad attitude, and I mean Bad. If someone doesn’t like their job ; Quit……one employee there is Jacob. Very nice smiling young man. Always hard at work with
Jobs that I see are placed in him by the lazy people that he works with. Store carry’s mostly junk now . Front people are more interested in chatting with each other. I really miss the original people who were there . I’ll be Patient, hopefully the store will hire new Courteous people in future. But remember; Jacob is a good worker; the others are very bad for the stores future. This is my Truth .
Fantastic thrift store with a huge selection of clothing, shoes, bags, hats and furniture. Pricing is great - everything is under $12 it seems. There’s a bit of vintage thrown in the mix but the collection is mostly more modern.
Considering they run on donations, housewares and clothing are overpriced, and electronics do not work. They state their electronics go through a thorough testing, and this is not true. You only have a three day window to return, but if you are not a local that makes it impossible. Buyer beware. Employees are dishonest, they just want your money. Reminiscent of how GW operates.
Loved this place !!! I bought 5 pieces for less than $100!!! Great selection and great prices !

This was my first visit ,I was told by a seller I recently purchased a sewing machine from.He told me it's one of the biggest thrift store in Brooklyn NY.They also accept donations of all types of items Finding place and parking a bit tricky. You come to a dead end ,where Lowe's store and parking is to the right .You continue to dead end there's a fenced gate bare to the left as you go through and find parking where you can .The store parking is behind Harbour Freight store.Theres alot of items to look at ,who knows ,you might find that special thing your looking for. Thanks for reading my feedback and remember ,support your local businesses .
Was just shopping at this location and even though there’s 10 minutes left until closing time, the one associate/manager started turning off the lights while there were still customers in the building and in line.
This is just poor management and customer service.
Arlene & her crew have done a fantastic job on all 3 orders I've placed. Even with the last one being a little tricky! Will be ordering
2 more items for pictures at beach this summer.

Love this store! Well curated, quality preowned clothing and toys, as well as unique new items, baby gear, and maternity.

They came in clutch for me this Holiday season with their extensive preowned American Girl dolls, doll clothing, and accessories. Even some stuff like new in the original boxes! Saved me a ton of money on presents and I got to support local. Win win. Thank you!💛
Why in the world do they use staples to put tags on the clothes. So many quality items ruined.
One of best little thrift stops. Fantastic prices.

The manager stepped on my foot and just walked by without apologizing. I told her to apologize and she told me that if I want to leave, I should leave before apologizing (female).
The manager stepped on my foot and just walked by without apologizing I told him to apologize and he told me that if I want to leave I should leave before apologizing (male) bad experience I am a person with cancer it is not the best way to Treating a customer instead, the cashier understands and apologized in space. I thank the cashier but I demand that the manager be changed to another position.
Small but great selection with very reasonable prices.

Arlene is the best and very accommodating for special orders. She literally has everything tye-dyed you could think of. She ships quickly as well. Many colors to choose from
Every time I come here they’re closed. I’m here right not at 6pm on a Monday, closed and I’m looking at staff in the store.
The staff is amazing! Nice thrift store, clean, large variety of items. From household, small appliances, clothing and some sporting goods. Would recommend a visit if you are in the area. Only down side is the clothing is arranged by color instead of size so be prepared to spend some time going through the racks.

A little difficult to find- but isn’t that the nature of treasure?

Cool stuff at low prices and great place to donate when you can’t bear getting rid of something cool and want to ensure it has a new home.

Stopped by on a Sunday and it had great energy, lot of shoppers looking for deals and staff was busy stocking shelves with new finds. Left with a table I didn’t know I needed

Great staff and a fun place to shop
Love this shop with a mix of resale and new items! You’ll find maternity, baby, and children’s items here. They have a good variety of selection and the store is very clean and well organized. The staff is kind and helpful. I haven’t tried it yet, but they buy back items for credit to the store.

People stand in front of the doors to the back and wait for the carts to come out. They rush the carts and shop from the cart before anyone gets a chance to look at the items. There are 2 people that are there all the time. A man and a woman that work together. They must be resellers. They jump at the carts and take all the nicer things before anyone else has a chance to even see them. I think no one should be allowed to shop off the cart. They should wait until things are placed on the shelf. It’s not fair to all the other shoppers. When I brought this to the attention of the store workers they said there was nothing they can do. Terrible way to do business

My favorite place to find unique gifts. Love the name brand items! I also appreciate the effort to provide plus sized clothing which is hard to find around here. I have both purchased and sold here and have had great experiences every time! I feel the pricing fits what you are receiving in high quality products that are hand selected by the owner. Great store and will continue to be a regular.

Takes advantage of customers, tells you to leave your stuff there, will take about 5 hours to go through, so my daughter said ok I’ll be back tomorrow, on receipt he gives you it says you have to pick up clothes or accept the offer or the clothes get donated it was a 50 minute ride for my daughter to go back so I called and said I will pick up the clothes after work I’m 15 minutes away I can take a picture of receipt, owner says she has to come in and show identification, this is how they scam you into leaving your belongings there, he should have TOLD my daughter she needs to pick up clothes same day or you lose them! SCAMMER!! And very rude people in there!

Loved this store! Found some great finds! Wish we lived closer! Highly recommend!
Every time i stop by, Always find something I need at a reasonable price.
There is lots of good stuff for a cheap price, and you're making a good thing for the planet and the people on it. Especially when it comes to clothes and toys.
Dasmund provides great service with donations. This is my second time using this donation center and both times he was clear and did a fantastic job of keeping the line of cars moving in an orderly fashion while remaining patient and professional. Thank you so much!
Clean and tidy, friendly staff, but small, awkward to get to, no book selection worth mentioning. Definitely not worth going out of your way to hit this place.

Very nice welcoming staff, with a wide variety of used in-style clothing. Love that it is local.
We don't go to this store to shop. We use this as our drop off site to donate items. Ths staff in the back is real relaxed. They just say put in over there and do tou want a receipt and that's it. I hope they help older people who donate. I don't need help but customer service is not executed there. The dropp off site always looks like wreck. If in donating something to hopefully allow someone else to use I would want it to still be in food shape as I gave it. When you drive up to this location things are flowing out of the boxes. If it rained then all the items are soaked. The back area needs a new system.
I ordered my boyfriend Tye dye overalls and he loves them! I ordered him his Jean size and they called to confirm and suggested I go up a size ( they fit him perfectly now) and called again to adjust the wash just how I wanted them! I also ordered priority shipping and they told me I don’t need to do that and they can get them to me before his bday , they saved me $$$ so nice. They turned out amazing!!! 10/10 customer service and 10/10 on the product! Thank you to the Tye Dye everything team :)

A super fun place to check out if you are in the area. You can find some truly unique items and lots of regular everyday stuff. This is a Thrift Store and all items are donated- every donated item sold here = more material kept out of landfills.
This place has just gotten impossible to shop at. They used to close the dressing rooms 30min before they closed, which was already annoying, but I get it; they need to get things cleaned up before closing. But now they’re closing them an hour before the store closes. It’s basically impossible to come here and shop after work for anyone with a normal schedule. 🤷‍♀️
I just received the most beautiful shirt I have ever seen. It has the perfect balance of shapes and colors. The colors are amazingly vibrant, and the shirt fits perfectly. I was asked to approve the shirt colors and size before it shipped; now, that's outstanding customer service. I can't say enough good about this wonderful company and those who own it and work there. Just bought another shirt, such intense colors; beautiful, soft and affordable-perfect! Bought two more shirts, each more beautiful than the last. Fantastic colors! Their website is like a box of chocolates-I want them ALL!
I’ve been here many times
Mostly window shopping and I was treated only with respect every time. I’ve came in and never did The Owner ever make me feel any less because I couldn’t afford things I mostly would save up or ask questions based on items my mother might want for a special occasion.
I worked next door at Js deli and Linda was always very accommodating and never gave me bad energy.
Highly recommend this store as the best designer consignment in the valley !!!
The other store by casuelas cafe is incredibly rude and pompous. Will continue to come in for years to come .
We had a poor experience. I went to potentially consign a new with tags Marchesa gown, Loeffler Randall mules and Miu Miu boots and the woman working, who I believe was the owner, was clearly unimpressed by me as soon as I walked in the door with my mom and kids. Maybe we didn't appear to be her usual clientelle (?) but when asked about having her look at the items she said she wouldn't and didn't have any appointments until March. Was clearly not happy when we suggested since we're right here perhaps she'd like to at least look at the Marchesa gown. She said something along the lines of "we wouldn't want this here" in a rude tone.

We had a look around as we were in the market for a high end designer bag and dress but didn't see many of the brands I was hoping for.

Overall I was really put off by the treatment we received. It felt like that scene from "Pretty Woman".

Big Reuse as a diverse selection of almost anything. Clothing, books, appliances, natural edge wood, paint, mirrors, toilets. It’s truly a treat to shop here! Check out some of the unique higher end items online!
I went to this store for the first time in a year, and noticed this bookcase. Anyone who is even slightly knowledgeable about the value of media should know that VHS tapes are NOT worth $4, especially at a thrift store. They are hard enough to give away, and can be found for $1 or less at every other place that has them.

Absolutely amazing across the board!

I did not have the good fortune to visit in person, but, I absolutely love everything I ordered online. There was a small hiccup with my order right before it shipped, and I received a phonecall explaining what the hiccup was and how it had been corrected. Even though the hiccup was very small and inconsequential (had to do with shipping, not any items in my order), the fact I received a very nice, personable phonecall a few days before Christmas, during holiday peak season, is OUTSTANDING customer service.

When my items arrived in the mail, I was awe-struck. The colors are breathtakingly vibrant, everything fits as expected, and it's obvious that the coloring techniques used are professional-level. I don't really know how else to describe it, aside from saying "the colors look durable" as silly as that may sound. It's just something about the quality of the color used on the fabric (I guess it's their special sauce!).

This place is a hole in the wall, and that feels right. The staff are all very kind and they will happily do some custom work for you!!

I got a set of overalls a few weeks back and an apron about 6 years back. They use quality materials. The apron still looks new, and the overalls are clearly very durable.

I really can't recommend this locally owned and operated business enough, especially for gift shopping. 😊 Cheers!
Cute store. Very clean and well-laid out. Cashier struggled checking us out. Getting out of the store was a challenge.
It's a small store .
All spaces are tight
Narrow aisles
So.its impossible to.stay 6 feet apart lol

Love this kids consignment store. Quality things for an ok price. Some things are a little pricy for my taste for secondhand but still better than new prices usually. They have a little kids area for kids to play while you shop that my kids love too. A chair or two next to the kids area for non shopping parents would be awesome in the future
If you're looking for high end clothing handbags or shoes this is the place for you.. If money is not an issue, you would want to visit this place.. I was looking for dress pants for work or maybe a dress. The lady at the counter did let me know what the deal was for the day which was 50% off certain items. Which I think is a great deal Looking at the designer labels that she had. There was a dress that I was considering but I didn't want to spend the money on it.. A lot of cool accessories are here.. I can't say if I will be back again when I'm visiting this area but who knows.
LOVE, LOVE ,LOVE this store!!! Used to shop there often with my GF Kathy. Cartfulls over the years!! Best prices!! Especially the color coded sales they have on certain days of the week. Just shopped there recently and purchased several outfits for under $25.00.(Got these Pink pants there. 😍)
Bless Up All!!!
🥰 Thank you to the Salvation Army and it's Wonderful workers. God sees you. ✌🏻🎚️❤️

Childish things is the most lovely children's shop. Very cute pieces at 20-30% of retail and I am so glad it's so easy and nice to reuse rather than buy new. I get new Hanna Anderson and Tea Collection whenever I'm there. I wish I'd known about them when pregnant as they also have a cute little maternity section!
I picked up an Aretha Franklin record and three other records. Grabbed a dozen vhs tapes. They even had a God clean pair of levis jeans in my size. Friendly staff.
Walked in store looking for an outfit to wear for my father's funeral. I was prepared to spend several hundreds of dollars for this occasion. The older lady totally ignored me, not once asking me if I needed any help. So rude to ignore customers. Will never go back.

This place is amazing. Great deals all around and one of the VERY FEW places in Marquette to carry 2X and 3X clothing. Very fair about buying high quality clothes. They also have a nice selection of other vintage items like tea pots and jewelry. I highly recommend stopping by often as they are constantly putting out new, fresh, seasonal items.

This is the best used/new baby/toddler space for almost all of your clothes/toy needs. I love their style and their items are all reasonably priced and of high quality. There is plenty of parking and their staff is super friendly.
I constantly get compliments on how well my kids are dressed and how cute their clothes are, 85% of my kid’s clothes are from here. I like to shop high end, this isn't one of those stores where you get cheaply made clothes for cheap, it's obvious they put thought into what they choose to buy and resell. You know that these clothes had to meet a certain level of quality before being put on the rack, and personally it’s helpful not having to swift through tacky clothes in order to find the gems. I know I’m always going to leave with items I love.
One minus restroom is been forever closed, very inconvenient! Please re open it. Been loyal customer for years! Always something to find for great price , cashiers are great! Would like to see more new inventory coming out through the week would be great! Would shop more of course , Thanks!!
P.S , Miss the Wednesday’s morning speeches from Previous manager that were couple years ago back on Wednesday Sale Day! :(
I have found many cherished items here. The staff/volunteers are a joy to see. Many estate items mixed in with regular items. Prices very fair. Small shop, I’m a regular very happy with purchases over many years.
The staff I dealt with were nice. The store is a hot mess. Pants are hung up by a pant leg rather than waist band. There aren’t any sizing tags on the racks. I also noticed that the time on here says they’re open until 7pm, the staff announced 10 minutes to close at 5:50pm.
At this point I’ve visited the store twice since moving here. I’ll continue to poke in once in a while. I hope these areas will improve.
Incredible deals found at this gem of a business! Beautiful designer clothes and a wide range of designer options (some clothes are brand new and have never been worn). The owner is fabulous and is extremely helpful!
This is supposed to be a thrift store. Well, I don’t think the people who price the items have a clear knowledge of the word, thrift. Some of the items I’ve seen, recently, are NOT thrifty. I went into this store on Monday. I just about died. The prices on their items, especially coats, are outrageous. I saw one coat which was priced at $79.00. Others between $29.00 and $69.00. Can you believe it? And domestics are high. A set of used sheets, $16.99. This is supposed to be a place, low income families can afford. Well, the Ebayers are out in full force. The prices have steadily increased. Walmart is cheaper and their stuff is NEW. Even Target and Amazon are cheaper. I really do not want to shop here anymore. My advice to anyone reading this review is don’t expect that the low prices you have gotten used to, are still there. They get all of their inventory from donations. That means, Salvation Army gets them free. Trust me when I say. They are NOT a not for profit organization. All they care about is the money. Go to Walmart or Target or even Amazon and save money. I have had it with this store.
This is a pretty large thrift store. Lots of clothes, furniture and housewares. Reasonably priced items. I found several crystal pieces (bowls, candy dishes, etc) that were priced at $7.99 ea. Not bad. It could’ve been a bit cleaner and more organized, especially considering the location but I love treasure hunting so I may pop in again in the future. There is an Angel View boutique next door, google indicates that its permanently closed, it is not. It’s very clean and organized with a boutique feel. I’ve included recent pics of that store here.
Lovely, organized, reasonable cheap prices, friendly staff. Paid $67 for 9 items. Looks more like a boutique, especially their dress room. I was staying at the Movie Colony Hotel and it was 1 minute walking distance. I went right before my flight. If I lived here, I'd go every week to see their new arrivals. Thanks for the lovely experience! I got a dress for my Mom and Grandma, each $7.99 Awesome gifting idea if you're a tourist, find something with the Palm Springs flavor at a thrift shop. My family and I are all bargain hunters so they appreciate that the gift is thrifed as well.
I rarely have a reason to visit Childish Things anymore, as my children have outgrown the sizes available in the store. But I still visit when I need to buy a gift for a younger child, especially since I live nearby. I think this is a wonderful store, for the niche that it serves. It is not the place to get the cheapest kids clothes or the absolute best deals. But it is well organized, a pleasant shopping experience, and if your children are younger than around 7 years old you will find them nice things here. I used to think of it as a place to get high quality used stuff- usually very good brands in very good condition- for about the same price I would spend on new stuff at Target or Fred Meyer, and maybe a little less depending on the item. You can often find as good items for less money at thrift stores or some more high volume consignment stores, but it will take a lot more effort and time (and is more hit or miss). Also, I gave up on predicting what I would be able to sell to Childish Things- sometimes they rejected things I had purchased there and didn't really use, or brand new items from upscale brands. But I get that they have limited space and need to carefully gage their market in order to stay in business.

Very trendy and very clean, quaint store. The owner is very sweet and you can tell she put a lot of effort into selecting good quality items. Everything smells freshly washed and the prices are very reasonable for being higher quality brands. Definitely worth stopping by and browsing the selection of women's clothes!

Gigantic warehouse stuffed full of all sorts of fabulous finds, mostly leftovers from film/TV sets. Two truckloads of cool furniture from a hit TV show had just landed when I was there last. First run at the really good stuff won't be cheap, but prices get moderate if things don't sell. And they're happy to give a deal for bulk buys. You never know what you'll find there, but you will always find SOMEthing cool. Is this couch not AWESOME?!
It said they were open on here but went there and walked in and they were closing an hour early and a girl was stand right next to me and infront on my mom soon as we walked in constantly say they were closed knowing I heard her but my niece took off with her cousin in the store. Honestly did not like that hospitality or service! I even said nicely on google it said you were open and nobody didn’t say anything just looked at me and looked away.
I love this place. They have 4 weekly colors with different price reductions. I never leave empty handed.

Update July '22 still great😁 I got 3 pairs of jeans & a pair of sweatpants for under $11

I’ve found some awesome stuff here, crash bandicoot baseball hat, super cheap graphic tees and vhs camcorders. Definitely recommend people check it out.
I've been to several thrift stores, but this goodwill has the most fair prices in the area, you have to go with enough time since not everything it's in great condition, but if you look carefully and be patient you can find some diamonds in the rough, they've been following the safety protocols since the reopening and have sanitizer at the door, the staff does a great job.

Overall I think this is a great thrift store. Prices are very very reasonable and in good condition.

I've bought many nice things there that I've been complimented on! : )

I have been consigning there for over a year and have not made as much money as I wanted, BUT that's only because the prices are so reasonable to the buyer!! : )
The great thing is I have offloaded and decluttered a lot because of the ability to consign and make some money too!

If I rate the store more exactly, I would give it a "4.5" and not a 5 because I find that some of the help is moody at times. But most of the help is very nice which helps compensate for the moody workers.
There's a little bit of Gossip going on between the women in the back and I don't like it. Gossip is unkind. So just be careful what you say and of course that applies in all situations everywhere.

Overall: 4.5 rating. : )
I absolutely love this store! Nearly everything on the racks are name brand. And they constantly have a tag sale of half price or 99 cents. Just to mention though, starting in January they will have no more plastic bags. You will have to bring your own bag or carry out what you buy in your hands. It's much better for the environment, so I welcome it. :) Also, the hours on Google are incorrect. I was just there tonight, and they're open until 8:00 p.m.. Although the dressing rooms close at 7:30.
This location doesn't have air conditioning, it could be cleaner and more organized.
There's some really nice and good quality clothing but I find that a lot of the clothes are stained and visibly dirty; which is a turn off although all clothing should be washed. There's some great finds in the furniture section for a reasonable price. This shelf was only $19.99, I staged it for inspiration for a shoe room.

This place is another great resource for people on a budget (or just smart and crafty) who are looking to furnish, or even rehab their home.

I've been using big reuse for years to help furnish my homes, find new projects to rehab and I always come away from here with something interesting, even if it's just a book.

I do miss their other locations in Brooklyn and queens as I feel they had a lot more home renovation materials, but now seem more focused on home furnishing.

Great prices, great staff, always a way to kill time, or check out something different before heading to ikea.
Gotta rate it 5 stars since its my local store and I am in here all the time. The staff is super friendly and they do a great job with the store. Its well organized. Like other SA stores they have one color per day that is on deal but if you go on Wed all the colors except for one are 50% off. This is the best time to go. I have never found the store to be crowded and I always get a parking spot easily.

This store has good prices, but you occasionally find the odd marked up item, but that is all thrift stores right. I don't see too many marked up items here. I have gotten some really good clothing items here. I think this is the only thrift in the area where I have actually found clothing items that I will wear. The pricing here is much better than the other SA stores I have been to in the area. Because I don't see too much that is overpriced here I buy more stuff because its more reasonably priced, this is better for the store because they move more clothing that way. They had a .99 cent rack for a while and there are a number of 99 cent clothing items floating around the store. There isn't so much clothing that its overwhelming to go through.

The housewares are also very good, I have replaced dishes for pennies on the dollar (some items are 29 cents) and gotten other things for the house for good prices. You could stock a kitchen for a fraction of the price of retail stores by buying from this store especially if you don't mind if dishes and other kitchen things are a bit mismatched to save some money. If you have a set and need replacement dishes you might just find them here especially if it was bought locally.
Great little treasure of a store! Linda is absolutely lovely and has a good eye for pulling what might suit you. Genuine vintage and contemporary designer pieces and some good copies, Linda knows her stuff!
Cash only -- An amazing thrift store filled with hidden treasures. Went specifically to look for some new work clothes, and found several gently-used pieces from Loft, Ann Taylor, Brooks Brothers, Gap, Banana Republic, Calvin Klein and more... jackpot! Clothing ranges from $3 - $6, and you can get some items on super discount if it you come at the right time of the month. Also, got some amazing earrings for $2! It's a win for me, a win for sustainability, and a win for the church! Highly recommend and will be back again soon.

They have a wide selection of smaller baby items and clothing. The store is quite small so they don’t carry many strollers, car seats or cribs or larger items. The staff are friendly. We have found some very good quality items there, but they also have items that could be priced lower based on the fact they’re used / scratched up. Overall my wife and I really like it and we have been there twice, each time we left with at least 5 items.
The staff is new. One of the ladies is still there though. Great people. The store is usually really well kept unless you go in on a busy Wednesday but that's expected because that's the busiest day for the them. I never walk out of this place empty handed.
They have come a long way since opening. Items are more organized, color coordinated, more designer options, and prices are not as expensive. Some items are overpriced, so choose wisely.
There is handicapped access and free parking. The donation center is in the back.
This shop has been in business for 53 years. What a great find. It is a thrift shop that relies on donations, but also accepts consignments. Every day is a fun experience. I have gotten so many amazing things here, from Crystal vases and such to Chico and Talbot clothes for under $5. And the church benefits. A win-win.

My daughter and I love to go and look for unusual items. I love the books and sometimes get some great albums. I think it's a little pricy, but I understand because they keep a great store and they are always helpful and nice. We never walk out empty handed. We always drop off a few bags for donations and get a discount. 🍀👗
