Awesome cafe style restaurant, very casual family friendly atmosphere.
Best buttered chicken I've ever had, even including India.
Great venue for Nana dinner date with my Grandson.

The guys running this place are super nice and work hard. While travelling throughout New Zealand, this has been by far the best flavour and value for money I've had while eating out. Each of the six dishes we had were great. This a definite must do if in the area.

Went along for the first time tonight and it was wonderful! Lovely service and amazing food! Portion sizes are great! We had the popcorn chicken and vege pakoras to start, perfect amount to share between 3 (could easily share between 4). Mains we had tonkatsu (fried pork) portion was massive, served with a small salad and some rice, like a deconstructed donburi, pork was very tender. And the mango chicken, different to your usual mango chicken but was delicious with chunks of mango throughout. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back. Prices are very reasonable for the portion size!

So underrated. The service was amazing. Food incredibly tasty and generous portions. Lots can be made vegan or already is. We got the cauliflower bites, lentil Dahl and eggplant curry. Definitely worth making a visit. I will be back for sure. 💛

Absolutely delicious , a great variety of vegetarian, GF, vegan, and tasty fusion dishes. Such an amazing find in New Brighton. Good price range-eminently affordable for most pockets. Come for a beach walk or hot pools and grab a bite at Sams wonderful little kitchen.
