Good reasonable priced food , ready on time
We’ve been ordering from Bengal Spice for the last 6 months, and it’s consistently fantastic! The food is always delicious, with generous portions that never disappoint. Tonight, we had the chicken balti, vegetable biryani, naan bread, and a drink, and everything was perfectly cooked. As a lovely surprise, they included extra Bombay Aloo as a complimentary treat! The online ordering process is super easy, and paying cash on delivery is a convenient option. There’s a wide variety of options on the menu, so there's always something new to try. Highly recommend Bengal Spice for anyone craving authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine!
The food was very “meh”. The butter chicken was as sweet as a dessert and full of what i suspect is coconut? Very bizarre to me. The rest of the food was fine, but several other dishes were very sweet to me. I have a sweet tooth, but these dishes are meant to be savory. Very weird and don’t recommend.
NEVER EAT HERE. Worst service ever. They lied to us about our order kept us waiting for over an hour and still it didn’t turn up. No apology terrible phone manors just lies.Will never order from here again.
We just made an order on Uber eats, the food was absolutely lovely. The order was accurate, our starter from last time we ordered was missing but they resolved this and brought with this order with no complications or hassle. The nicest Indian I’ve had in a long time. I’ll order again for sure. Thank you
Ordered from here last week and the food was shockingly awful. The breads and onion bhajis were cold. The curry's themselves were not very edible, cold and not very tasty. I complained and they advised they would offer me a free order next time. I called them this evening and they said they would only give me 1 free meal which went against what they said originally and the man on the phone was extremely rude. I am not prepared to spend any more money with them just got 1 free meal! Shockingly awful customer service. Avoid at all costs.
A nice meal for a fair price. Have had a few good meals in here over the years. One dish (a new dish so understandable) wasn't up to scratch and without me even asking it was removed from the bill.
Never had to wait long for service from friendly staff, glass never empty for long and toilets clean too, alas they are up a handful of steps though so not great for my mother who has mobility issues. Restaurant is just over a dozen paces from the bus stop so no one needed to drive, great for those who want to enjoy a few drinks with their meal.
