Many GP clinics are struggling across the country - and I wish it wasn't like this. Generally, the reception staff are brilliant - they are doing their best with the limited resources they have and poor working conditions. They're polite, helpful, understanding.
Most of the GPs there are locum - with is not optimal for patient care continuity. But the nature of the work conditions means that many doctors get burned out from being asked to do far more Vs what they are paid. So a locum working arrangement works better for their mental and physical well-being. Any doctor I have seen has been good and knowledgeable and professional. I wish their was more in terms of resources and better quality clinics.
Imagine going to work and there is no job benefit. If you want to work in NHS as a rewarding job - then brilliant. But there seems to not be many other benefits that atleast I personally would want to work in the NHS.

I keep phoning every morning to get an appointment for my father as they have asked to see him but everyday for the last two weeks no appointments. It’s a never ending circle or doom. I hope you get fined for this

Welling branch, last week with my wife , didn't let me go together in the room , without any reason . The lady doctor very rude, doesnt listen to my wife all time this was 2nd time with her same experience , what a neglance doctor, they need to know who paid them! 2 doctors are same attitude . There used be good doctors few months ago, i wish they back assp

Worst gp ever, have to wait more than month for phonecall appointment. Need to wait all day for 5 minute phonecall which doesn’t let me talk but gives advice from online. And when talked about another problem have to book another phonecall just waste of time. Great way of taxpayer

Very unprofessional staff , very rude .I called every morning trying to book an appointment. When someone finally picked up the phone, she accused me of lying that I had been waiting over 30mns. Why would I lie? I only want to see a doctor. She told me there was no appointment slot left, and She called me a liar. Unbelievable, what people have to go through to see a doctor, for Goodness sake. For years I have not seen a doctor and every time I have an issue, i go to A&E. I am switching GP , both with the one in Plumstead, I am not sure what is wrong with everyone.

Useless impossible to get through to.
Appointments difficult was told one doctor on holiday and had difficulty getting a locum. Staff rude stood at rrceptioist for a few minutes, receptionist continued to type completely ignoring me.
Changing surgery.

Only one decent GP here who will actually prescribe you things. The others are useless and just dish out free advice when you need medicine. That is if you even manage to get an appointment which majority of the time is a waste of time as they don’t want to give you anything. One chinese lady gp refused to give me paracetamol liquid for my baby when another gp happily prescribes it for me. Instead you are told to go buy stuff over the counter. I pay my taxes and my 1 year old should not be told to use over the counter stuff when i usually get it from GP. Fix yourselves.
