The Boat Business

i was struggling to find a new outboard for my boat with most places unable to supply for atleast 5 months. rang the guys at the boat business and not only could they supply what i needed but they made sure it was fitted after dropping off to them in the last week before christmas holidays. great customer service and will definitely recommend

Booked my boat in 3 weeks ago for a service was told the service would be finished on this date, called them the day before to confirm as I work away, was told by the lady answering phone calls that other customers demanded that there boats to be serviced before the weekend for the port to pub and my boat wouldn't be serviced for another 5 days, I asked if she was putting other customers before my boat she denied and quickly change her story to the delay due to the covid 5 day lock down which was what she originally said the 3 week delay was. No phone call from them for a heads up for the extended delay, 1 star and my boat hasn't even been looked at. Poor customer service please be honest.

Great service. Very honest,knowledgeable,& helpful would highly recommend. We will get both our boats serviced bye these guys. Its rare to get a Marine business with this much integrity. Thanks to all the great staff

The boat took far longer than expected to be completed (weeks), I was never given any updates and had to repeatedly call them. The engine box was re-installed over the light and there were screws and rubbish scattered through the boat, not how it was dropped off to them. They also state the engine needs an overhaul, however a compression test was never done to confirm this. While the work was completed, and the boat runs, I believe in Perth there are far better boat repairs businesses you can find that will provide a much better service.

Fantastic service extremely helpful staff got everything I needed what they didn't have in stock arrived the next day ,received a call when my parts arrived and was also given some great advice couldn't be happier thank you the boat business

Really disappointed in their service, had my boat for 3.5 weeks only to break down the day after they gave it back 35kms out in the ocean, when i questioned them about it i was told they were doing me a favour for taking my motor as payment and "i couldnt fix it" as an excuse. Also they "couldnt beilive i went out so far after they just gave it back" basicly stick around the jetty after they return your boat just incase they don't "fix" it.....

If you want your boat repaired in a timely and professional manner then look elsewhere. Very unimpressed with the Boat Business.

Having waited over a month for my boat to be returned it came back with a sidelight smashed off the near new trailer leaving a bare (live) wire hanging out! When I raised it with them they claimed I caused it after collection (despite third party evidence to the contrary). I'll never use them again if that's the kind of 'care' they take of your boat/trailer. Shabby.
