I have been here twice now and have tried almost every item on the menu. Everything has been fantastic! Last night, between the two of us, we ordered 3 appetizers and 2 entrees. Portions are on the smaller side so this was just the right amount of food for us. My two favorites entrees so far are the Beef Short ribs and the Lamb Shoulder. My favorite appetizer is the pork belly. The service is great and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Highly recommend checking Morel out!

So happy we found this place. Choosing a restaurant can always be a daunting task when visiting anywhere from out of town. I hate wasting a meal/money when it just doesn’t work out. Morel was amazing!! We typically over order and over eat when we go out. So for the two of us, we chose 3 appetizers, 3 entrees, and 2 desserts:
-Biscuit with smoked ham and honey
-Chanterelle/sweet tooth mushrooms w/polenta
-lamb carpaccio
-duck breast
-lamb shoulder
-rabbit ragout w/ pappardelle
-chocolate terrine
-chocolate chip cookie sandwich with bourbon ice cream
Every dish was amazing. Not a single miss. You can tell each detail is thought out and executed perfectly. If I had to choose the star of the night, it would be the biscuit. Each element is amazing, yet so simple. The biscuit is perfect. The smoked ham brings salt, but doesn’t overdo it. The honey butter and raw honey tie it all together. If I worked in the neighborhood, I would eat a biscuit every day after work.

Great restaurant!
The food was delicious! We did the mushroom and pork belly starters. The starters are quite small, just big enough to share between two people is what we observed. We did the Lamb and Pork entrees both were top quality. A bit on the smaller side if you are hungry but paired well with the 2 starters we had. We opted for the chocolate chip ice-cream sandwich. This was a bit of a disappointment after the first 2 courses being so delicious. I wouldn't do that again. This is somewhere I would suggest for gluten free folks. The menu is very accommodating and the staff was very willing to work with us to make changes to dishes to make them gluten free.
The atmosphere is very relaxed and inviting. Felt like a cup of hot coco by the campfire. Dark lightning and not much natural light so not the best for photos.

Loved my visit to Morel! The farm to table, seasonal, sustainable, and local approach to cuisine is my favorite and executed phenomenally here. The space (especially the garden) are lovely and the staff were fantastic. I would definitely recommend!

What a great find! The morel fricassee was to die for. The service and the cocktails were wonderful! The ambiance on the patio was perfect. The homemade pastas were great! The venison ragu with papparadelle was so yummy. That dang ice cream cookie was very tasty. The hanger steak came with thee best onion rings we have ever tasted ...ever!!!! Like wow!

Came all the way from Chicago to have my birthday dinner at Morel. It was amazing, and totally worth the drive! We were greeted warmly, sat promptly, and the service was great. I love a good farm-to-table concept, and they execute it very well. Their bread, jams, and sausage are also made in-house. Everything we had was SO GOOD! Definitely get the half and half, charcuterie and cheese, board. The morel mushroom fricassee is a must get. The smoked pork belly was cooked perfectly. My mouth is watering now just writing about it. The walleye was also cooked to perfection! So good. You won't go wrong with any of their cocktails or a nice glass of wine to go with your meal. Save room for dessert!

Loved the cozy and unpretentious vibe with exceptional food. Season and local flavors are featured beautifully. We had 2 appetizers and a main and will be back to try other menu items! Morel is a MKE dining gem must!
