Absolutely delicious food. From each section, I was pleasantly impressed each time. Focaccia bread, pork chop, and the cocoa creme brûlée is what I'd recommend to anyone!
This is our second visit, we immediately recognized our previous staff that facilitated our experience. We knew the food was good, the location was prime with too much people watching 🤣, no really it was so nice withe shade trees and blocked off street. Ask for Michael, she was awesome.
We got the grilled chicken on brioche which was super bland and missing the pesto, they did not even have a side of pesto and brought out vinaigrette instead. Cobb salad was pretty good. They forgot about the soup which came out after the entrees. Not the worst dining experience but definitely would not come back again.

Not worth the hype. They serve huge size portions of food. Most of which we couldn’t finish. The pancakes are ok but waffles were soft and crumbly just like the pancakes. Go if you want instagram photos but otherwise find a better place. The restaurant smelled funky and had dirty sticky tables and chairs.
How have I never written this review?! Forever my favorite restaurant, even a dozen or so years after my first meal here. Always fresh & local, every dish is flavorful, complementary, balanced, & perfectly cooked. Slight tweaks to the menu nightly keep it interesting, and don't skip dessert. As an initially picky eater, I credit Fore Street with massively broadening my palette when I came here at least once a week as a young adult working weekdays in Portland - every type of seafood or produce I tried here was unbelievably delicious. The trend continued tonight with a tomato goat cheese tart, an appetizer special - I normally avoid tomatoes but so glad I gave this a chance! The service is always excellent and so friendly, the ambiance is a delight in every season, I could go on & on. Reservations open two months in advance but the bar is open seating and serves the full menu. They also save room for walk ins - they take names starting at 5pm but the (outdoor) line forms far earlier (I was #5 in line when I arrived at 4:15 on a late August Saturday and got a 6:15 seating for 3, but could've sat immediately at the bar). Your whole party must be present to sit but isn't needed to put your name in - they'll give you a planned seating time and text you if you can come earlier (you can wander while you wait). There's also standing room and a few seating areas in the lounge by the bar where you can have a drink while you wait - a server comes around this area so you don't have to squeeze in to order at the bar itself. Great cocktails, mocktails, & wine. Thank you Fore Street for all the great meals & memories, I hope you never close :)
The food is really fresh and the place is very good. Nice price. For sure I'll be there more often.
Wildest dining experience I had maybe ever. I ordered the grilled cheese which somehow did not have any cheese in it. It also did not appear to have been grilled aside from a 5 second nuke in a panini press. My friends got the salad and the burger which looked pretty good.
Great service and food. Everything was great. It was a high quality dining experience. Not inexpensive but also not overpriced for the quality of service, food, and drinks. This is the place you take your woman for a night out and show her how much you love her and spend some money on a great experience. This was my first time there. Although we can never expected perfect service, that is exactly what we had. My wife whom I have taken to many nice restaurants said this was the best dinner date she had experienced.
Very cool restaurant, very big, lots of seats. Gets really crowded on the weekends. We went during the week and had no crowding issues. Our sever was great. We explained it was our first time there, and she was more than happy to answer all our questions. We only had to wait for them to brew us a new pot of decaf, but that wasn't a problem for us. They even had a photographer on site who took pictures if you wanted. There is no pressure to buy, though. We did because the cost was reasonable and the pictures came out great. The food portions were huge, and the food was delicious. You can eadily split some of the meals.
Haven’t been here in a long time, but I ordered online pickup to avoid the line and they forgot my cauliflower avocado rice. The only thing that went wrong is they thought I was lying about not getting any rice.
They did make it up to me though by giving the base after I had to come back to get it. I only come twice a year since having my baby and moving away, but the food is still good every time.

We visited Wednesday night prior to attending a concert. Everything was amazing! The atmosphere is amazing and you feel like you’re walking into a different world.

Three of us ate one meal, Andy's chicken and waffles. You get four full size waffles plus two large breaded chicken breasts for around $28. The food tasted good, came with fried leaks and plenty of sugar reduction syrup. The drink was delicious too. Part of the fun here is seeing people when their large plate of food arrives, it usually brings a surprised expression with the size of it.

It has a really cute atmosphere - very cozy and homey, and the staff was all very kind. However, that’s pretty much as far as my positive thoughts go… the food was not good or worth the price (~$100 with a couple glasses of wine). The first dish (of 4) came out with literally 3 tiny pieces of lettuce with 3 strawberries on them…. Is that really a whole course?? Each dish after that was equally small and disappointing. A quarter of an artichoke was another entire course… I left feeling hungry, dissatisfied, and that I had wasted my money. I’m honestly shocked at the amount of positive reviews, I found the food incredibly disappointing and not at all worth the price point
We randomly found this place on Door Dash, and decided to try it out. We liked it enough to go in person after a day of shopping, and found it's even better in person!

The food tastes fresher, hotter, and the sauces compliment the food well. Not only that, but they have healthy versions of popular soda, along with their own juices as well. I tried their version of Root Beer, and it was honestly really good!
The service here has always been great, kind, and fast. Despite the food being pricier, I still don't mind paying it because I feel good after eating it!

The small plates were great! I thought the duck was delicious.
However, our waitstaff had an attitude. Everyone has a bad day. These things happen. I just wish staff felt empowered to take off when they need to rather than feeling forced to stick around and be miserable.

This establishment is run efficiently. We arrived on a Sunday mid morning and were able to be seated almost immediately with a party of five. Our server was very informative and attentive. The menu has a lot of options and the food was flavorful. Definitely will return. Great job to all the staff.
I had heard great things about Fresh Kitchen, so my friend and I decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed at all! I ordered the salmon with noodles, complemented by a delicious homemade sriracha sauce and a side of mushrooms as vegetables. The flavors were exceptional, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Fortunately, my friend shared the same sentiment and also had a delightful experience. Moreover, the staff was fantastic, providing a warm and friendly attitude that added to the overall enjoyable visit. Fresh Kitchen definitely lived up to its reputation!
One of the best meals I've ever had in my life. The food, ambiance, and staff are out of this world. You truly get to have the best time because you don't have to make any choices. Their melon gazpacho was the best thing I ate and I'm so sad I will probably never have it again. truly a once in a lifetime meal every time you go. The place is so cozy and you might end up sitting with other people you have never met (like a really dinner party!) The chef comes out at the end and speaks about the inspiration, process, and meal. Chef's kiss!
We came here for my husband's birthday brunch. We love the location in Vegas & were so excited there is one in Orlando. The waitress, Amy..was AWESOME!! My husband loved his Bloody Mary and Nashville chicken. I had a bacon avocado scrambler and it was very good. I highly recommend this restaurant!
This place is a must experience in Portland! The bar tender has been with the restaurant group since the beginning and was a wealth of information AND an excellent server and bar tender. The food was delicious, rich, flavorful and fun. Have a reservation or get in line earlier to get seat! Great, great food!
Sometimes you get lucky and find a restaurant like Fore Street. The chefs are very talented , and the food was delicious, bursting with flavors, and artfully presented. I loved the open kitchen and overall ambiance. My only disappointment is that I live over 350 miles away from Fore Street and can't go back that often.
Fradei is impressive. The food was incredible, with unexpected yet delicious flavors, like in the wagyu beef tartare with sesame seeds. Please go try their food. The ambient is a little cramped and not much effort was put into the decor, which is fine. We had to wait for 30 minutes for our reserved tables, but service flowed wonderfully once we were sat down.
Great place to visit. Many great selections from the menu. Food was delicious! I'll definitely return here. Service was also top notch. My only complaint would be that it was too cold in there but I guess that's a preference thing. Would highly recommend this place

Such an amazing find! We are always on the look out for healthy everyday restaurants and this has just been a jack pot. Everything we have tried has been super tasty and fresh, couldn’t even make it as good at home if I had the time. We are definitely going to become regulars here

Hidden gem of the Upper West Side. Always have interesting wines, great beer, and a solid selection of European dishes. Baked oysters are by favorite hands down. Great burgers too.
Great atmosphere and a cute bar. Prices pretty high for a glass of wine similar to every other place in NYC right now. But if that’s okay, this is a really cute little bar to go hang out on a Friday evening!
The intimate space is warm and inviting, and might be the smallest restaurant I have ever seen, in the best way. Book a resy here for a romantic date night or the perfect evening of exploring natural wines with good food and friends.

•Red Endive - This salad was insanely good and definitely inspired me to try to recreate it at home. Served with bon bon dates, tango mandarin, and verbena. Each leaf was perfectly coated with the most delicate and flavorful dressing. So perfect
•Yellowfin Tuna - Amazing quality tuna served with a lovely horseradish cream. Definitely get this!
•Bucatini - This nautical pasta had calatura di alici, dulse, and egg yolk woven throughout. Very delicious if you are looking for seafood pasta vibes.
•Sunchoke Scarpinocc - This pasta was seriously delicious with chestnut, chanterelles, and pecorino.
Perfect comforting pasta dish for a rainy night.
Drinks:
I started with a glass of Ca'Liptra Arancio made with 70% Malvasia Toscana, 27% Trebbiano Toscano, and 3% Sangiovese from their estate in Cupramontana, one of the highest-quality villages in Verdiccio die Castelli di Jesi.
This wine offered a great balance between delicate aromatics and grippy tannins from the skin contact.
I also tried an amazing Chardonnay from La Fermented e Jeanne in Bugey. I think this is only the second Chardonnay I have trie from Bugey, and it might be one of my favorite places for this grape. Perfect tension between a round, oily texture and razor sharp acidity, alongside some stellar aromatics. I am always down for some Bugey.
Ended the night with a lovely blend of 50% Mencia and 50% Albarin Tinto from the Asturias region of Spain.

There is a bar where you can be seated and served if you’re patient for a seat to open.
The atmosphere is magnificent and the aroma is contagious. Most every seat offers a view of the kitchen but if you’re lucky you’ll be seated in the quaint back room with a view of the harbor.
With multiple visits I’ve never been disappointed with the meals. The menu constantly changes with only a few consistent items. The vegetable soup is to die for and unfortunately has only been on the menu at one visit. It’s incredible. The roasted pork is incredible. Tonight’s wood fired Haddock was a treat. The chocolate mousse cake was light and full of incredible flavor with its cherry topping. The ice tea is fresh brewed and the ambience is fantastic overlooking the harbor in an old school building.

Love love love! Love all the reclaimed pieces from the city of Detroit, the tile, the ceiling panels, the water lines, the tables! Food was incredible.

The food and atmosphere was awesome. The restaurant had a wonderful smokey aroma due to the big brick oven, and I loved it. We went here for my brother’s birthday dinner and the food was delicious. We ordered an assortment of appetizers (including oysters) and cocktails. I got the halibut and my brother got the scallops (see the photos).
The service was excellent and we are grateful for the manager and staff. Definitely would recommend this place for any family. We’re from Ohio and we can’t get good seafood like this in the Midwest. We will be dining here in the future when we come back.

So many delicious dishes, nice cocktail menu, the Cacio e pepe pasta is out of this world!!

My favourite brunch spot! My go to is the Full Irish Breakfast.
Love the bar, prob my favorite hangout but it closes too early on Fri and Sat nights. Don't know why as they would still have a great business and make more $$$ by staying open later.
Visited for the first time last week with colleagues. Great atmosphere and great food. Our server, Allison, was amazing! Very accommodating and helpful. I ordered the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. Would visit again when I'm in NYC.
I don't drink and I asked the waitress about a virgin margarita and she scoffed at me and said " Like lime juice and soda?!?" With a Little laugh. It was uncalled for and I almost wish I hadn't gone there, but I did. I had the Mussels and a bowl of vegetable beef soup. The soup was okay and the Mussels were good but nothing to write home about.
My husband and I took an impromptu trip to Portland, Maine during Memorial Day weekend 2023. We drove from Northern New Hampshire. We did not have reservations, but the hostess graciously seated us as they had a cancellation. My husband and I had burgers and waffle chips. I tried a stout, which had a hint of chocolate in it. Very tasty! Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Overall, we had a very positive experience at this restaurant.
Cute and trendy but still cozy. Good variety of wines by the glass. The snap pea salad is tangy with a hint of sweetness on top of a light, creamy cheese that you hope will never end. Delicious. Shrimp scampi is yummy and satisfying. Good neighborhood spot.
Stopped at Union restaurant for lunch on a drive to Acadia national park. The restaurant is located in the very hip Press Hotel. My group and I really like the restaurant vibe and food! I had the “jump start” drink which had apple cider, turmeric, ginger and other healthy ingredients…surprisingly refreshing and not bitter! I had the grain bowl for lunch which was a healthy option that was really good! My husband really enjoyed the fish and chips! The col slaw was also very unique and great tasting. My friend really enjoyed the ham & cheese. Lunch scene on a Tuesday was good! Many filled tables. Would recommend it!

But the star of the show was the Mango Cake. Wow! That pastry chef is a genius with mad skills! She made an unbelievable combination of textures and flavors that I have never experienced. I know their menu changes, but if you see that mango cake in the dessert menu, snap it up. You won't be sorry.

Terrible service. Went to grab a drink after a concert and the blonde bartender was gone forever, said she would get right to us and then proceeded to serve every other person in the bar. Had to get a pat down to go in there….for what? Lame place and terrible bartender/service. This is why bars fail.
Sticky dive bar, but the food and vibe was perfect. We got tacos and brussel sprouts with balsamic glaze and everything was delicious and really nicely plated. We were able to sit by the fireplace on a couch, which was cozy & romantic- especially after dark when the red lights came on. The music was all perfect throwbacks and really made it fun. We had such a great time here and would absolutely go back.

I wandered into this cozy spot for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. Impeccable vibes from the moment we walked in, and I love that they make you feel like a guest at a dinner party.
The prefix menu was lentils, a quiche, a dressed salad of mixed greens and add ons of homemade sausage and a biscuit with tamp butter.
I loved the lentils and salad, and the sausage was savory and yummy, yet not too salty.
The quince could’ve been less wet, but the crust was perfect. The biscuit was pretty underwhelming, and was also room temp.

The prefix menu was lentils, a quiche, a dressed salad of mixed greens and add ons of homemade sausage and a biscuit with tamp butter.
I loved the lentils and salad, and the sausage was savory and yummy, yet not too salty.
The quince could’ve been less wet, but the crust was perfect. The biscuit was pretty underwhelming, and was also room temp.

Amazing menu! So creative! Super cute decor inside. The best seating is on the patio but there’s communal tables in the back!
Awful service. Male to female ratio is horrendous. Bartender ignored. Probably because we were a couple. She was telling most patrons to add her on IG. Decided to leave because it seemed unorganized and kitchen was closed.
Saturday 4/15/23 815pm...male Caucasian bartender wearing suspenders...maybe color blind or something...I was literally the only person (POC) sitting at the bar waiting to get served...a Caucasian guy walks in and gets acknowledged and served immediately...I stand up and get close the same spot as this patron, and still no acknowledgement from bartender...it looked like he was ending his shift so maybe he was like f@c!< it
I went with my boyfriend yesterday for the first time and LOVED it! I was very nervous trying something new but can attest to how yummy the pico, steak, and noodles are! I was recommended the garlic lemon broccoli by a girl named Emma, however, I really couldn’t taste any lemon or garlic. Safe to say everything else was delicious! We will definitely be back!
The space was very clean and the food handling was much cleaner looking than other similar setups like chipotle.

Great communal dining experience! You get a four course meal and get to sit with other guests. Note: if you have a gluten allergy, this may not be the best place for you to eat… we put in our resy that one member had a gluten allergy and they were not prepared.
The best wine bar in the Upper West Side! Such a friendly neighborhood joint with an extensive selection of food and wines. My wife and I go here consistently, and we always have a great time.
The Cacio E Pepe with Shrimp, Truffle fries and 2 Happy Hour cocktails: Yuzu Passionfruit Sidecar and Ginger Berry Margarita. Everything was phenomenal, including the amazing waitress that took care of us.

Great food! The service was wonderful. I went for brunch with my friend and we really enjoyed ourselves.
One of my absolute favorites on the UWS for happy hour, and meeting friends for drinks. Sometimes we just stop in for a nice evening glass of wine. They close at 11 and all-day Monday. Happy hour is Tuesday - Friday 11-6.

Came here for a weekday date night at 9pm since it so hard to get reservations. Thought the food was pretty good but didn’t knock my socks off and it was pretty pricey / small portions. My favorite was the kumquat salad - really unique and a creative way to eat the fruit. I really didn’t enjoy the hard bread they served w the cheese.

This is a wonderful lunch/brunch spot in Fort Greene. The vibe is very cozy and the servers are attentive and friendly. You pay a fixed price for 3ish dishes + dessert, which was an awesome deal. I recommend ordering a side of cured sausage (reminds me of Filipino longanisa!) with your plate. The meal is adequately filling but I can see how someone with a larger appetite might leave a little hungry still; there isn’t an additional a la carte menu in this case. Dessert wasn’t anything to write home about. Good wine selection! I recommend stopping by if you are in the area.
Some of the rudest servers I’ve ever encountered. I work as a server as well and understand that days are long and customers can be grating but I’d never take it out on a guest.

We popped in on a whim after going shopping. We wanted something healthy, but never imagined the flavors we would experience. First you choose the number of each item you want, like your starch, vegetables and meats. and then you pick pick them. Starches such as coconut rice or sweet potato noodles, then you pick vegetables, then a protein, such as sesame, chicken, barbecue chicken, blackened, chicken, or steak. Then you pick some toppings ( pesto, tomatoes are amazing) and then add a sauce (or more than one) to go with it. I had the blackened chicken and the sesame chicken on top of coconut rice with sesame oil and soy green beans and the pesto tomatoes I added Suraci cream sauce on the side to dip and a kale sauce (I know what you’re thinking, but it was amazing.). It was completely filling, incredibly flavorful, and quite a surprise to the whole family. Well worth the stop. The kids also enjoyed a really unique flavors from the soda bar.
Probably of my favorite bars in WV - their brunch is actually really yummy too! Usually pretty crowded on the weekends, but if you go early enough you can snag a table
Quite a beautiful, cozy spot. I came here for brunch with my brother and it was phenomenal. We started off with an Irish soda scone and then had eggs in purgatory, a blood orange and arugula salad, and mushroom burrata toast. Everything was cooked beautifully and tasted so good! The atmosphere was also so nice and felt like you were sitting at a friend’s house. The staff were also so kind and attentive. Would recommend getting a reservation for brunch or dinner here!
The ambiance of Vertical gets you right as you enter the restaurant. Our dining was amongst wine bottles. It was intimate and cozy. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. Our meals were excellent! Our party of four agreed we need to come back!
Second time here and it didn’t disappoint either time. Food was delicious. Shared the French toast and Winter hash…so good. Also loved the design!

My husband and I went here for our 17th Anniversary and had a lovely time. Our waitress Iesha was so good. She was busy but still checked in with us and made sure we were enjoying our dining experience. The manager, Gordon, also checked in with us a couple of times and was pleasant and accommodating.

Recommend making reservations because we came here on Saturday night for dinner and it was crowded. Because this restaurant is amazing. Service is fast and the staff is so friendly. Great UWS restaurant where locals dine and good to bring friends or go for date night. The dinner was kind of pricey but delicious delicious!
Looking for a great Mediterranean bronzino and delicious salads try Tessa! Delicious fresh and moist bronzino served with fingerling potatoes and a cauliflower mash. Also try the Pear Arugula Salad. Fantastic. Don’t forget to pair the tasting with a nice glass of the Montepulciano. Enjoy! 🍷
Interesting place. Stopped in briefly to get a bite to eat upstairs and it was a chill, groovy dimly red lit room with fireplace and eclectic background music. Not alot of ppl around 9 pm on a sat but DJ was getting setup so the vibe probably changes later. Seemed great for a date when not busy. Downstairs red bar was more divey and packed with lively, drunk ppl. From the sounds of it, its usually reversed. Upstairs service was nothing special but they were polite enough. A little trashier crowd was trickling in upstairs as I left, so maybe thats a downside later in the night.
One of the only tasting menu's I absolutely love going to. Perfect mix of cuisines & wines. Highly recommend checking out Fradei in Brooklyn!!

Vertical Detroit was an awesome find during our stay in Detroit. This restaurant is high end featuring an expansive wine menu. Chef Matt Barnes prepared tantalizing dishes that were bursting with flavor and cooked perfectly. The pork belly was tender, delicate, and mouth watering.

Have been here twice now, once for Brunch and just last night for dinner. The whole team does an excellent job. Cami, the chef, does wonders in the kitchen, keeping the meals simple and tasting like home while also invigorating them with fresh flavors and a refreshing twist. Declan has acted as host and bartender during my attendances and always bring a wonderful energy and presence. Seriously, I’m already pining to go for lunch. Cannot wait to be City based in a few short weeks to make this a regular spot. Bravo, again!

Very clean and chic restaurant attached to a hotel but not readily noticeable.
Food was good but needed lots of salt. ?Corn beef plate was super bland, boring and tasteless. Service was nice but few orders were missed and had to ask to have them delivered. The greens smoothie was very good but a bit sweeter than I personally prefer.
Overall not a bad experience but the food didn't have a wow factor like I had hoped.

I arrived here and went into the right side where I saw a crowded bar and a QR code for an app to pay but not order drinks. Apparently this was the wrong entrance. The other door brought me to the restaurant proper where I could order food and a drink. The burger wasn't that bad though the bun was awfully dry. I might've had more fun just getting drinks.
one of my all time favorite restaurants, fradei hits the mark every time. the food is remarkable and unique, the service is impeccable, the restaurant inside is small and quaint and absolutely perfect for the experience, i cannot rave enough about this place! also a wine pairing for $55?! EASY choice, and they do it beautifully. I’m surprised they don’t have a michelin star yet, but you will not be disappointed here!
Hidden gem in New England. The same quality of food would have cost you $300+ in New York. Definitely worth a trip. Their steak is cooked perfectly. Other appetizers are also quite decent. Definitely check this place out if you end up in Portland Maine.

I never had Italian food that was this original. All the dishes look simple, but they're deceivingly original and carefully crafted to produce a unique tasting experience of flavors, textures, and visuals. The staff is very chill and the 80s music helps you flow through the 5 courses. I especially loved the dessert, smoked fish, and the vegetables, but everything was good.

Lovely location. And sincerely some of the greatest staff. Most definitely the lightest and fluffiest fish and chips if ever had. You’ll want a fork for this one! I’ll be staying near here and come back often. The bar section and dining section make is a good night spot to either start any the bar and transfer to table or Vice versa…I could stay a while. Oh heck, I did! And will again soon.
Atmosphere was very chic. I love anywhere that’s got plants all over. Service was rather slow.. we waited 45 minutes for our food, but the wait was worth it! Aside from the very eye catching presentation, the food was delicious! The mushroom toast was incredible and was my favorite. Will have to come back and try their dinner menu.
Opens at 5pm. The best kind of place to sit and relax and have a cocktail with a friend. Has a great red gothic feel to the place without being over the top. The drinks have a nice range from simple and traditional to "oh, that sounds different, I want that". They also have a food menu which tasty. The raven burger was suprisingly light. This is the best hole in the wall find ever! The food is amazing, their specialty drinks are the perfect hint of flavors. Our waitress was amazing, very observant and kind.

All the food was delicious as always!! They have big portions but we ended up eating everything since it was so delicious.
We ordered 4 different entrees for 4 of us and everyone agreed that the chorizo hash was the best of all. Very tasty and very good looking from the very beginning.
