Spa Lapis is the most knowledgeable and helpful spa in Erie. Amanda has helped me more than any dermatologist in Erie, with various skin problems. You can tell she really cares about her clients, and she provides helpful information for how you can solve skin problems at home too. Or if you just want to improve the look of your skin, she can help you reach your skin goals. Since going to Amanda, friends in my life have remarked on my skins glow and the even tone. Recently I received one of her holistic facials. It was amazing. She helped relieve facial tension in my face which is a cause of headaches for me. After this facial multiple people in my life remarked on how great my skin looked as well! I even noticed a sculpted effect. I’ve been seeing Amanda since 2023, and my skin has never looked better. Had an appointment for a massage after spending hundreds of dollars throughout the years and woke up feeling ill, was vomiting, had a blinding migraine, and needed to reschedule. I started calling(about 10x) as soon as they opened and they didn’t pick up, I left messages. Concerned that it was getting closer to the time and I didn’t want the massage therapist to come in if she didn’t need to,(Yes, I’m concerned for THEM, while I’m in the restroom vomiting) I sent a message any way that I could find. My card was immediately charged 60$. No response from any worker, no “call back” like they promise on their message machine, just straight up charged my card. I called immediately and was met with extremely condescending and demeaning remarks from Amanda, the owner. You would think they would have an ounce of empathy for someone who has shown patronage throughout the years. If you have a chronic illness, you are not welcome here, they have zero empathy or remorse. She also revealed she cannot afford to pay her employees a living wage, therefore she must charge patrons cards that she has on file for services they never received. Do not trust them with your sensitive information, now I have to go through the hassle of canceling my card and getting a new one, concerned that if Amanda doesn’t get the tips she wants throughout the week, she will charge my card, because that’s how she “makes a living wage,” according to her. Also, did I mention the last time I sent my 90 year old grandmother here for her birthday, Heather, cut her until she bleed, multiple times during her pedicure and she is on blood thinners? If you want to go to a spa that is completely unsafe, careless, apathetic, shady, and will unethically take advantage of your situation, Spa Lapis is your go to!

I can't say enough about spa lapis, Amanda, the staff, and the relaxing atmosphere. A facial by Amanda has an unbelievable result.The texture, tightness, glowing , flawless skin Is all there and more. Her prices are so reasonable for the time she puts into caring for you. She will combine things that meet your facial needs. Everyone's skin is different. She will give you her most unrushed, informative, time and knowledge to help you continue your skin care routine at home. When I look in the mirror I am in awe. She is truly an artist, with a canvas that shows her remarkable artistry.

I have been seeing Amanda since she started her own business. Actually even before that. She, and her staff, are very professional and always have their customer's best interests at heart. I am only in the Erie area for six months a year and I always see Amanda and her crew several times during that period for waxing, facials, pedicures, manicures, and just plain fun.
