I’m 5 months postpartum and recently really starting to feel the effects of carrying/lifting/feeding an almost 18 lb little human. Elmer took the time to understand my aches and pains. Did you know there is a special prone breast pillow for lactating mothers? Best thing ever. Also appreciate a masseuse who does not talk too much so you can just relax and focus on your breaths. Make an appt with him if you prefer/can handle deep pressure massage. I definitely felt much better after just one 1hr session.

Elmer was a great therapist. We started with a stretch session followed by a massage. He catered to my tight muscles during the stretch and really worked out the soreness in my neck and shoulders. He was friendly and also gave some good tips on stretches and other activities to do at home to keep the muscles lose. Would come back to see him again!

Lots of great massage therapists at this location! Both Belen and Emily were very professional and are masters of their art. I would highly recommend either of them. The team members working the front counter are helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back

This is the location where I signed up for my membership. Yesterday I went in and was very specific about how I wanted the massage and Eddie my therapist understood my needs. It was a great experience and he was very attentive and professional thank you!

Alicia gave the most incredible massage, taking her time and working out every one of the awful knots in my neck, shoulders and back. People usually give up because I have so many, but Alicia patiently put everything she had into working through my tension, giving me such tremendous relief I wanted to cry tears of joy! We have done our massage at this place one day ago. We both had very bad shooting shoulder and back pain after their massage. Upfront they charged their fees and at the end the lady was waiting with receipt to add tips. If the service is good people are willing to pay the tips. It was told as full body massage but they did only neck and back of my wife. We feel like we bought pain with our money. We don’t recommend this place to any person

This is a great location. The front desk staff are pleasant and efficient. My go-to therapists are John for a deep tissue massage and Janine for my facial (although others I’ve tried are great too). Both John and Janine are prompt, listen to my concerns, and do a great job!

Mayelin is the best. I’ve been seeing her for years. I had to move away from where she works and I still drive an hour to go see her because she is the best. Perfect pressure. Very relaxing and a great person. Very nice.

What an incredible team! My sister, cousin, and I planned out a spa weekend to Chicago with De La Vie providing massages, facials, and pedicures. I come in all the time with my husband, but this time I brought in my son. This place is so good they always know how to take care of us. I wanted my son to have the experience as well.

I got a hydro facial and my son had a deep clean to take care of his acne. My skin was so radiant when it was done. My sons pimples seemed to be reduced.
The massage always seems to take away my stress and pain.

Walked in for a massage with my mom and sister. When we arrived they asked if we had an appointment, and took us right away even though we didn't. We were asked to pay first which was weird to me. And there was a sign outlining what was considered bad or good service based on how much you tipped. How can you decide how much you want to tip before you've even had the service.
We all had a 60min massages which were great to the point that we wanted to adjust our original tip. However, they had no cash to give us change and one masseuse was all too eager to take the whole $10.
Overall the massages were good but how they do their payment process leaves much to be desired.

Any time I have to call this location there is an issue. I'm told to call this location because I set up my account through ME at this location. I no longer live here, and go to a closer location to my home.
The last time I had transferred a session to my fiance, I was not told I could do this once every 6 months for the same individual.
I called to transfer a massage to my fiance for a $10 transfer fee, to which I would agree to, as I did last time--and I was told I couldn't "because that individual received services within the past 6 months." I had not been told about this policy before, and when I inquired further I was told by Paul "its just how our system works." Paul would not give me his name over the phone and joked and laughed when I had mentioned we would be reaching out to corporate for his lack of service skills.
When I had asked about a possible cancellation fee, as I set this appointment up for my fiance, I was told Paul didn't have an answer for me. I wasn't told it was a standalone and separately operated franchise location, I was told "I don't know, I down work at that clinic." He probably meant location of the franchise from the context of conversation.
Subpar customer service from a manager, with over 10 years of experience... just because you have longstanding record of servicing roles, doesn't mean you did a good job at it. Mr. Paul Logan, you are a greedy and rude person. I hope your workers see you for who you are and quit before it's too late. You guys should apply to a different location if you enjoy your work at ME. I suggest North Attleboro. Dennis is a great masseuse, and forgive me I don't recall the names of the girls at the desk, but they know how to service clients at the reception desk, as well as on the phone.

I had a fabulous massage with Yesinia! She is naturally talented and well educated in deep tissue and trigger point treatment. She hit all the right spots for the back issue I was having thereby releasing the pain. I would definitely schedule with her again! 😊

Honestly we've had couples massage before at different places and this was not the best experience. The people were very friendly. I still tipped well. It may have just been an off day for them...but im not feeling great about the $200 I spent for what we got. Firstly get in the room and 2 women come in to massage us. She was doing perfectly on me! But then she kept leaving during my massage. And suddenly a man came to massage me. So I definitely feel my services kept getting interrupted..and immedietly he and the other masseuse started talking and giggling to eachother.. was hard for me to focus on the massage and relax..& this man has a hard pressure that hurt me a lot. I would ask him to go lighter multiple times. He focused really on my upper back. Idk why. I thought it was a whole body massage. Didn't touch my feet even once and a foot massage I was most excited for. Not to mention they rub you with a rough towel most of the massage not even oil. We flipped over for the last 5 minutes and they said "finished " and ran out lol. Like I said they were nice people but I feel so sore today..I probably won't go back.

My experience at Massage Envy was superb!! I received an excellent massage session from Tina, who I highly recommend, and have been with for 3-4 months. Unfortunately i had a horrible service today. I came in to get a chocolate scrub for the first time. Jenna was rushing during the whole entire process i couldn’t enjoy it because she kept talking. I was put under a shower with lukewarm water when I ask for hot water. I was not informed about the condition of my skin. I was never informed about the products that was being applied on my skin. I will never step foot in this spa ever again. I am so disappointed because for the price I paid I could’ve got a better services than that. I would just avoid coming to this place.

Racist and discriminatory front desk staff! Young pretty front desk gal, verbally abused me tonight May 16th 7pm. I was polite but the lady kept bashing us with insults for simply looking at our skin color. You can see the difference she shows to white customers as opposed to when we walked up, the tone and attitude suddenly changed negatively. This day and age honestly you should know better than to judge a book by its cover, but the staff at the Maybourne hotel are by far some of the most snobby service workers I’ve ever come across in all my years of traveling. I’m a resident of Beverly Hills and I will definitely recommend you to stay somewhere else that has kinder and competent staff. There’s so many options of competition such as Peninsula, Beverly Hills hotel ,Hilton etc.

Hand and Stone in Tustin was super clean, quiet and relaxing. And it smelled so good! The aesthetician, giving me my facial, Dalilah, was gentle, professional and very calming. I’ll definitely be back.

A great stay at The Maybourne! What a delightful stay, as elegant as you'd expect, and a great staff all the way around! We were did a last minute "staycation", and from the moment we arrived, the Gentleman Parking Valet set the tone with a wonderful welcome and let us know he and everyone at the hotel were there to provide a great experience. We had a suite and it was large and perfect ... great layout and very well appointment and great energy. The pool is absolutely wonderful a rooftop view of Beverly Hills and LA .... it's pretty. Pool service, food and drinks all delightful. Pretty much everything was A+ perfect as you'd expect ... great people and great place. There are a lot of great hotels in Beverly Hills, but The Maybourne, being one of the best has that one very special advantage, location location location! For those of you that wish privacy, they are very discreet and professional. At the same time, at times when choosing a place to stay, there sure is a wonderful benefit when you walk a few steps and have some of the best restaurants, bars, and shopping in the world right next door, you never really have to take a car to enjoy a fully immersed great stay. If it was business .. the busy traveller has peace and elegance and the ability to walk for a meal, convenience to most parts of LA and not far from the airport. If it's vacation or romantic weekend, you have a fantastic SPA, great restaurants, bars, and shopping. The hotel itself has cool little bar and a few restaurants, and a beautiful outdoor cafe as well with somewhat of a green-space to enjoy "green" in the city! If you like to exercise like we do, they have an awesome, super well equipped gym ... plus, you can just step outside and run though some of Beverly Hills most beautiful quiet neighborhoods. I can't praise the hotel enough, its a wonderful place that will treat you royally, and allow you relax and the world of lots of fun adventures - should you want to go enjoy the town is right out your door. For vacationers, you have the pool and a resort experience when you want, and again ... dining and fun and all that LA has to offer and you're staying at the best address in town ... a good way to sum this up, really great, you will enjoy The Maybourne "experience" - the best of all worlds!

My wife and I enjoy our trips to Portland to get a massage or facial at Massage Envy. Amelia does a wonderful job at the facials and you leave with your face feeling smooth and refreshed.
Margaret is great at tailoring the massage to exactly what you need. I prefer "medium" pressure but she is very capable of deep tissue if you need.
The only issue I run into is that the location on Portland is quite busy and appointments are scheduled 2-3 months out. Unfortunately, on more than one occasion my appointment has been canceled due to an employee no longer working there. It seems it's very hard to find and hold onto the massage therapists.
It wouldn't be too big of a deal of it weren't for the fact that I pay a monthly fee for their services. If the services aren't used, it remains as a credit on my account. As a result of all the cancelations, I have many credits on my account that I can't even use before I get charged for another month. If I were to cancel my membership, I'd then lose those built up credits.
Contacting corporate for Massage Envy is pointless. They take absolutely no responsibility for their locations since they are a franchise and issues that arise are handled at the sole discretion of that local franchise's owner, which to me, is unacceptable. After all, it is still all one company and lord knows they take my money all the same. To claim you can't help with membership issues at a store that would have had to have been approved by corporate to open in the first place is lazy and a disservice to their customers.

I applied for the monthly membership and I realized I can no longer commit to this. I asked for a refund & a cancellation and they mentioned they could not refund it due to a 30 day cancellation policy. So I would have to cancel the first day I enrolled? What? I called to cancel today well passed the 30 day mark. They informed me there in fact there was a 72 hour window to cancel upon enrollment but this was not mentioned to me when I enrolled. The rep “apologized for the inconvenience”. That’s not an inconvenience. You did not state my consumer right and you’re robbing me of my money. They did not state I’d be billed against me will. I want all billing to stop regardless of a ridiculous policy and would like to speak to a manager. If you’re gonna sell someone something do it correctly and legally.

Last week I got my facial and microderm done from this place. That same night my face started to hurt. The next day morning I noticed a couple of wounds on my face. When I called the office for help, I was told to contact them the next day. Poor service. After mentioning about giving a bad review, immediately I was told that the owner will call me shortly. The owner asked me to apply Aloe Vera. I tried to contact a Dermatologist but no one was ready to take me as the wait time was 10 days. I can still see scars on my face. Please be careful.

Decided to go here for my birthday instead of a massage chain and it did not disappoint! Kiki did amazing work! I am a dancer , educator and fitness instructor: She knew exactly where my knots and shoulder problems were! I felt revitalized afterwards and she checks in to make sure it feels good.I should’ve gotten the 1 1/2 hr sesión! There was some Thai like stretches at the end too. Definitely recommend to get your moneys worth. You do have to pay beforehand and if with card 2$ charge.

I absolutely love John’s massages! He does deep tissue and keeps checking in with me to make sure his pressure is appropriate for my needs. This makes me feel listened too and safe to ask for more or less. He is very respectful, professional, personable and makes sure I receive my allotted time each massage. The check in staff are friendly and efficient. My only observation that could be addressed was the the condition of the therapist stool in room 10 at least, needs to be recovered. Looking forward to my next appointment with John!

Andrew at massage envy in South Portland is incredible. I’ve been seeing him for at least 8 years and he is the only reason I continue coming back. I come every other week to see him. I would rate him 5 stars easily!!! The front office is a different story and I’m really upset with them. I wont be renewing my membership because of this situation. I had to cancel a same day appointment bc I was sick… like really sick and they charged me. I called back a few days later to speak with them and they stated they have a strict cancellation policy and it had been charged. So I would recommend you still going to your appointment even if you’re unwell. I wish they would have offered me to gift the massage to someone else but I didn’t think of that until later. Several years ago I had to cancel same day and they were super nice about it. When you attend appointments so frequently it’s bound to happen twice in a 8 year period. I’m just super disappointed in this company.

Jenna was amazing as she worked her hands and elbows all over my back and worked my calves as well as requested.
The cost was $180 but with the GC just paid a little out of pocket along with a tip based on the value of the massage.
My only gripe was I was never offered a beverage when I came in which was about 10 minutes before my massage. I was craving some tea but had to ask for it at the end of my massage. Also, there is a waiting/relaxation area downstairs which would’ve been nice to hang before my massage.

The one and only bad thing I can say about Massage Envy is their turn around rate for their masseuses. Every time I feel like I’ve found “the one”, their gone a few weeks later….then it’s back to square one. If they could manage to keep a steady solid crew, they’d have 5 stars from me.

We just had a couples massage and our masseuse Ivy and Zoe were amazing! They worked on muscles in our body that others have never done! She was able to get out a lot of my tension and I feel a lot better now. Hot stones were amazing! Highly recommend them! You won’t be disappointed!

Started here in July of 2022. Very first appointment should have known this was not the place. They had to reschedule me my first day for an earlier appt and no one showed up on time for work that day and they were 15 min late, they did offer me an add on for free. Still I started a package with them. In Dec which I scheduled a couples massage almost 3 month out knowing weekends fill up, 3 weeks prior to my appointment they had to reschedule me again because one the masseurs called off. ( they only have certain people that do couples massages??) 3rd time I made my appt a month in advance for Jan and 1 days prior they had to call and reschedule it, which I just canceled.
I understand letting employees take time off but come on, in 6 months I was canceled and moved 3 times. I just chose random masseuse & masseurs. So I cannot blame one person.
The sad part is I was referred by one of my co-workers that goes to the one in Lake Forest.
Either way I found another place now and don't plan on coming back.

I can't believe it has taken me this long to write a review!! This is the only 5 star hotel in Beverly Hills that is worth the price, don't waste your money anywhere else!! They have the BEST restaurant in town, location is perfect, rooms are gorgeous & updated, and staff cannot be beat. They also have a very fun cigar bar above the restaurant. I've spent two Christmas's here with my family and I had my wedding here! So I might be slightly biased but everyone who works here literally makes you feel like family. During my recent stay (first time back after our wedding) they had our wedding wine waiting for us in the room, they put a REAL Christmas tree in my parents room, and at midnight they hung stockings on everyone's doors!
I highly recommend enjoying a long leisurely lunch at The Terrace on a sunny day, you feel like you are in Europe. It's heavenly!! 10/10 experience every single time, thank you to everyone who makes it so special. Get the agnolotti.

By far the best salon in the city. Originally followed my manicurist, , but soon was introduced to all the wonderful services they offer. Their amazing staff are both knowledgeable and helpful in customizing the exact services and product that are right for you. My skin has never looked better or been more complimented. A wonderful experience to say the least.

I recently visited MassageLuXe and had a great experience from front desk ladies to the service. I was extremely happy with how I was treated. The membership process is actually simple if you pay attention to what they are explaining.

This happened several times, I used to verify how many hours I have while booking the appointment and later after the massage they used to say they don’t see anything on the system, it’s so bad that they can’t even tell me how many times I have been charged and how many appointments I have used. I don’t know how hard it is to maintain the balance of hours left for one customer. It was super irritating to argue after getting a mediocre massage. I’m still getting charged after asking them to cancel the membership.

Sometimes when I get facials I feel like the staff does a good job of spreading stuff on my face to clean it and add moisturizer. That's fine, I enjoy it. This is not a default practice at this place. The staff is skilled and knowledgeable about different products and treatment methods. The custom recommendations for me were so on point. My stressed skin shone after my treatment.

I’ve been going to Mercedes for my routine wax services for a few months now. She’s really great, & friendly. The facility is very clean & has a nice aesthetic. You will not be disappointed!

DO NOT GET MEMBERSHIP WITH THEM!!! The masseuses there are good but the management is abysmal. I told the front desk agent i wanted to quit my membership and that the manager has to send me a form for me to cancel it. No problem. Guess what happens? They never send it. Never even received a phone call. The month passes and I get charged for another month. Now I'm upset. I call them and tell them I was to be removed and should not have been charged again. Ohh we're sorry they should've told you the process. Yeah it has to go through management for them to send you an email. You didn't get an email? Nope. Not once, not even in spam. They verify that my email is correct (I've been receiving their other junk emails like appointment availability etc.) so this shouldn't be happening. I ask to just get my money back and they say oh no that's not possible. I can't imagine how many other people they are trying to swindle like this. Once I actually do get the link to cancel it says I have 4 hours of credit that I can receive as vouchers. Ok, at least I can give to my family to use. Not only do they lie to me and say its just 4 credits of 30 minute intervals, they also say its 20$ per user to activate the credit. AND THEN THIS MONTH I RECEIVE ANOTHER FREAKING CHARGE!!!! I am furious with this company and have filed fraud from my credit card. DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP WITH THEM !!

Receptionist was courteous.
I was not impressed with the hot stone massage I was given by Anna. No time to work on feet and when asked she said time was up. Wish they give you a 10’ heads up when the massage is about to end or ask if there’s an area to work on before the massage ends. I wasn’t keeping track of the time, I was too busy tryinto relax.

I paid for my first visit with a gift card. When I checked out I was told if I purchased a membership the balance of my gift card would be applied toward my first payment. It was not. I discussed with staff at my next visit. They said it would be taken care of on my next payment. It was not. On my next visit I asked to speak with the manager. I was told she worked the next day and would call me. She did not. I called back and was told she wasn’t working but would be in the next day and would call me. She has not called. They have kept the balance of my gift card and no one at the store will do anything about it.

I wish I can give this place a 0 rating. I called and booked a 50 min prenatal massage. I walk in to my appointment and was asked to fill out lengthy paper work. Once I was done my paper work, my massage therapist said she can’t do the full 50mjns now since we are starting late and she has another client after me. I told her I was never communicated that I need to come early to fill out my paper work. My only option was to pay for 50 mins massage and get a massage that was not going to be 50 mins or reschedule for another day. I told them that I was not going to pay for 50min massage since I wasn’t getting a 50mjn and why would I want to come back to when I’m getting such a bad service. Why would I return???

Rather than let me work things out the spa manager basically called me up screaming at me on the phone being verbally abusive and threatening me. It was enough that I had an abusive family member that was messing with my membership but I really didn’t need the added stress and accusations. This occurred in 2017. Hopefully there’s been new management since then.
Unlike other spas that will let you cancel over the phone or simply take a one month notice these guys will make it the most inconvenient thing ever.
If their only good thing was a hydro massage machine before your massage then yay. I was actually nice and didn’t complain when they had one masseuse who talked more than worked on my muscles.

This review is for my massage therapist Nathalie who has been exceptional, compassionate, kind, and consistent in delivering a relaxing massage session. For the front staff, Bri and Nicole are awesome, always super helpful, nice, and kind. I like asking for help and scheduling appointments in-person versus on the phone. Management can do better with training new staff via over-the-phone experiences and service because there have been times I called and reached various new staff who were not as helpful and frazzled and ended up putting me on hold for another person to help anyways.

This review is for the staff - they’re simply fantastic! I had the pleasure of speaking with Bri who helped me organize a surprise massage for my mom. She was kind, extremely helpful, and fun to talk with. The transaction was effortless, and her and Nicole even went above and beyond to help leave a message/note for my mom too. Thank you both for a great experience! My mom loved the massage and her time spent at Massage Envy. We would recommend this location.

Their official policy is that when using saved credits (for ex, due to how they charged during covid) for premium services (a peel etc), they use $140 worth of credits for services listed as $100. That’s a ripoff, and so I stopped using them for premium services.

Eva is truly the best. I’ve been going to her for 3 years now, since I first moved to Chicago. She gave me my first wax ever and made it the most comfortable experience. Eva is amazing. Great wax and great customer service. So friendly and she makes you feel so comfortable. Very knowledgeable and experienced. She’s been doing this for over 30 years and it shows. Very relaxing place to get a massage and they have lots of additional services to add to your experience. My favorite scent is the energize scented orange to add to the oil. You can also add foot services with warm wahcloths and rubs, and the new vibration tool gets deep into the muscle where some therapist just cant reach without this tool. It makes for a much more relaxing time and really relieves my tired sore achy muscles after a long day at work. Andrew is extremely detailed oriented and meticulous to make sure that he gets all your focus areas that are bothering you the most. He's got a great personality and gives outstanding massages. You will not be disappointed and you will feel revived afterwards.
