First of all, the 4 hours limit is ridiculous, I thought we paid the day use per person and parking in full. The views were so breathtaking that you do not want to leave. you would envy your south boarder neighbors whose entrance passes per vehicle are valid for 5 days in their national parks. The trail was pretty easy until getting to the Grotto.

One of the best hikes I have ever been on! And its something you should experience if you are in Ontario specially.. Blue waters.. trail through the green is so wonderful! Make sure to reserve your parking in advance. No parking! No going in! Simple as that.. Lady at the entrance was super nice and greeted us with a lovely smile as well..!

Cost $37.50 for parking and 3 people (family). Purchased in advance online - the website took some time to figure out and register etc. so not the most user-friendly process. The grotto is maybe a 20-30 minute slow-paced walk - pretty easy overall, no rocky terrain until you get to thr Grotto itself. The Grotto cliffs have sharp and uneven rocks (care is needed) but well worth it. Didnt make it to Overhanging Point or Boulder Beach. Really nice views and a unique spot. Pretty crowded even in late September.

The Grotto is a hidden gem that I recently discovered, and it exceeded all my expectations. This enchanting spot offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The natural beauty, tranquil atmosphere, and breathtaking views make it a must-visit destination. Whether you're looking to relax, explore, or simply unwind, The Grotto has it all. I was captivated by its charm and left with unforgettable memories. Highly recommended!"

Beautiful National Park, totally worth the 30 mins hiking to Grotto, you do need to make reservations ahead of time, the cost for family of 5 was less than 40$, you get 4 hrs. to hike & see the scenic trails and Grotto. We went on the holiday weekend because that was the only day we could do it but too many people, also there are flies/mosquitoes everywhere but the scenic view was espectacular. Some areas of the trail are more difficult than others, just bring comfortable clothes and shoes, plenty of water and hike at your own pace and enjoy it.

Absolutely beautiful, it was quite a hike so wear proper shoe wear. Unfortunately I did not know you had to make a reservation to see it and had to do an impromptu sleep over since the ride over was four hours one way 😅. I wish there was something more direct on that fact as it will likely be booked up if you try to book the same day during certain times of the season. This is apparently for almost anything you would want to see in Tobemory including little cove Beach. Otherwise I'm excited to redo it again and stay for a week!

Absolutely worth the 30 minute walking on trail, great view with cool clean water. Perfect for family trip. The water was cold when I came there, not sure if it's always cold like that, but nice for a short swimming time. I suggest to wear anti-slipery shoes when walking on the rocks. 100% recommend this place.
