Garvin Heights Vineyards

Bathrooms are clean and basic. Parking is limited, however we were able to squeeze our 40’ 5th wheel in there. Staff is friendly.

Stopped by as a Minnesotan, had to see if we could take in a native fermentation. Great service, seemingly knowledgeable, so picked up three of their sweet wines.
Tonight, we started with the Bluff Country Red.
Try as we may, even letting it air out, it is virtually undrinkable.
I ferment my own wines, and this represents an immaturely completed vintage, and to present as a "Sweet Table Wine" is simply a misrepresentation.
I attempted to post-sweeten it as a fix; it is not able to be resurrected.
Will try the other three and post reviews for each.

We stayed here in our RV overnight as part of the Harvest Host program.

The view of the vineyard from the back patio is so serene and beautiful. We had a great time chatting with the host and received info on local sights, while tasting the delicious wine on the patio.

Don’t miss the Lookout at Garvin Heights City Park very close by to see a great view of Minona from atop the bluffs. Great place to view the sunset; it reminded us of watching the sunset in Florence from Piazzale Michelangelo.

Many choices of good wine. We got some delicious cheese curds to go with the wine tasting.

Beautiful place with lovely patio views, kid-friendly but very enjoyable without as well. Games, friendly environment, and great wines. Linda was a fantastic host.

Stopped by to check out a Minnesotan vinery. Its a small mom and pop place. The hosts were super friendly and the greyhound they had was a little shy. But it was a nice relaxing stop on my way touring the mighty Mississippi river.

We stayed there in our Rv with Harvest Host. Absolutely great stay! Perfect host. The wine was very good. Overall the winery is a Plus 5.

The serene atmosphere made it easy to unwind and soak in the beauty of the place. The wines were exceptional, each with a unique flavor that showcased the vineyard's dedication to quality. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, making the tasting experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it's a perfect spot to relax and enjoy good wine in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend!
