Amazing interpretation, the Rangers and guides absolutely know their stuff, and are incredibly passionate. The tour is so worth it! We had Leone for the hall (her interpretation was so thoughtful and informative) and Zach for the Senate (his tour was approachable, funny, and he answered every question with seemingly encyclopedic knowledge).
A must see, for Americans and non-Americans.
Was sort of busy, even mid-day Monday, so I can't imagine how busy it is on weekends.
Also, the museum is free to visit, but the tour costs $1 (yes, one ☺️) and has to be reserved through the website).

You can feel the history all around you. Standing where some of history's most known persons once stood and observing where our nation's beginnings happened is awe-inspiring. The guides were very knowledgeable and took great care to preserve the ambiance of the location and its significance.

Independence National Historical Park and the surrounding area is a must visit location in Philadelphia, particularly if you're into American history. Independence Hall, in particular, was where the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were debated and adopted. There are also quite a few historical buildings (plus the Liberty Bell) to visit as well within this park. A very neat experience!
If you're in the Philly area and you don't go see this amazing piece of history you're doing yourself a disservice. The late afternoon tour was free and when I went the lines were short, and the tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and professional. Definitely worth the visit!
This is a beautiful information center. The place was clean even though it was raining. Plenty of things to look at learn. Workers there dressed up to educate you on the history. There is food if you are hungry. A gift shop for souvenirs. They also had a penny machine which I love. Parking is a nightmare though.
You need to order tickets online to reserve a tour time ahead of your visit, but that was easy to do. You get to tour Independence Hall with a park ranger to learn the history of this important building and our "founding fathers". You then visit the building where Congress and Senate would meet. Be sure to appreciate all the detailed woodwork inside. Look around and transport yourself to the important time in the formation of our nation.
