A really fantastic pocket of 17th century history. We had a fabulous day interacting with their historical volunteers and learning about daily life in 1600's England. Was really wonderful to see the buildings in real use and their experts crafting, cooking and creating in the period. Can't wait to return, you won't be disappointed visiting here!

Nice little place, but possibly just a tad bit too small. We went as slowly as possible with children but struggled to spend longer than an hour. The volunteers are very committed to their roles however and nice to see a place like this where children can touch various parts of the exhibits. Very family-friendly prices gift shop :-)

The knowledgeable volunteers really bring it to life, fantastic visit for the whole family. Like stepping back in history to 1642 England. We Really enjoyed ourselves. Very interactive.
