Hightide Holidays

Very poor service. Numerous phone messages left over a few weeks with no return call. Emails sent with no response or phone call as I requested in my email. Website says my email address is incorrect, had the same email for 20 years. Life member but this means nothing. They take your money and that’s where it stops.

Am a life member (which cost big $) but in 10 years I never found a hotel deal on HighTide holidays that is better than other platforms.
Furthermore, HTH does not advertise the tariffs of most hotels, so it takes two steps to email or telephone HTH, then wait for them to quote. This is so inefficient. I want to see prices when choosing or culling properties.
Has anyone else had that negative experience?

I will never trust them again to make a booking. Had we not rang our Accommodation to extend our booking we would have got there to find we only had a one bedroom apartment, we had booked & paid for a 2 bedroom spa apartment. Consequently we did not get what we paid for but that's not the worst part. We arrived at the airport to find we were not even in the system for the bus transfer to take us to our destination. Once again we had booked & paid $120 for a return shuttle only to find that the actual price was $72 return, absolute rip off from Hightide, not happy Jan! We have been members of Hightide for 12 years now, come on HTH what's goin on?

Number of good deals has greatly decreased. I never get emailed deals anymore as I used to. Probably because I dont buy anymore vouchers.

Horrible experience. no mention of a booking fee during sales conversation. I was told 2 of my vouchers would be needed to receive the wonderful discount, however after phoning the holiday apartments directly I found the total discount was around $100 for a 6 night stay. when I was invoiced for the balance they charged me more then was agreed and even though on subsequent phone calls they acknowledged their mistake, they are still billing me for more then the agreed amount. I am at the stage where I want my money refunded, i was required to provide my card details again and advised to wait. Will never use them again.

If I could give zero stars I would. They do however get five stars for taking your money and misleading customers. It's impossible to contact anyone, either by phone or email. Complete waste of time and money. AVOID

Do not be conned into buying these vouchers. You can actually book your own motels cheaper yourself. Total waste of money.
