It's been a long time since I've done a Straddie trip. Even 24 hours over there, was a great circuit breaker that felt like a few days. It's just a shame to see that people don't take their rubbish with them when they leave, which will ultimately end up ruining it for the rest of us.

Absolutely beautiful place. Hardly any beach traffic. great views from the sand dunes for whale watching.

Amazing! Peaceful refuge away from the hustle and bustle of the Gold Coast. But you need to go by boat to get there.

Magnificent part of the world get over there and have a good look around you won't be disappointed. Take a walk over to the east side (surf side) take water and don't forget your camera keep your eye peeled plenty to see. And you will almost have the place to yourself except for the wildlife.

A beautiful and untainted part of Queensland that I was very lucky to experience as a teacher on a school biology camp.

So beautiful walking out of the Bush onto the surf beach.
The sound of the birds and the waves... sooo relaxing.

That place is beautiful for its white sand and blue sea. Campers are friendly. We saw some Golden Wallabys and a big goanna.
