The college is great and all, especially the professors. The only problem is the paper work. Whenever I try to reach something related to my trascript or any other papers, I would always be told to reach out for something that is not part of the college.

It was superb….. visited the college for a purpose !!

I'm an HCC student, so I feel like I have credibility to share my experience. HCC is a great college with tons of cool places, great buildings, events and programs. For example, RCF building is top-notch. You should see it for yourself if you don't believe me. Also, a program, I'm not it yet, called Howard Pride is about empowering black students. Mr. Lamb makes sure you are safe in his office! One last thing I want to say is about the food pantry. They have hours, but when they are open, it looks like heaven inside. They also have a meal kit for you, so you can go home and cook food to your liking. There are more things I want to add, but this would take an hour to read if I did. HCC is a great college to get credits in general.

This is an excellent college, in which professors really know how to teach and to relate to students. Most students will transfer to four-year colleges and so will save a lot of money. I have talked with university professors. They have a great deal of respect for Howard CC. One especially noted the excellence in advising students.

Honestly, I enjoyed my time. My biggest grievance was that the Disability Support Services didn't specifically target any particular disability. They offered "support" that was not particularly useful for my mathematical disability. Besides that, I met so many great professors who were inspirations for me. The events available to participate in were fun too. I liked Visiting Rep Stage up until that Joseph Ritsch said something offensive to me. Besides that, I felt that Howard Community College provided me with an opportunity to meet new people, enjoy great food, and I guess expand my horizons. Despite the many personal struggles I faced at this community college, I am glad that some professors were understanding and actually took the time to explain things thoroughly to me so that I would not fail. Overall, HCC is a good place to begin ones journey towards a higher education!

HCC has been a great experience so far. The staff here are very respectful. There are many programs that they offer and they offer support for students. The campus is a good size but everything is in a walkable distance. I would recommend this college to anyone pursuing a degree.

I love Howard community college. Staff and professors are so helpful. They have so many programs and resources such as free tutoring, 1 0n 1 mentor coaching, office hours, transfer fairs anatomy and physiology study lab, , internship office , personal counseling to help propel students to success. This is one of the best decisions I have made in my life. This experience is so priceless!!! Thank you HCC!!! I feel like there are always trying to help , they always ask how may I may help you everywhere you go!!!
