I genuinely don’t understand the bad reviews. I have found the staff always to be helpful and friendly, far more than at my previous surgery. GP time is short and services could be better everywhere. There is no money! The NHS is woefully underfunded and they cannot do everything. That’s just the way the world is now. I might have to find the money to go private for some things but I’m not going to slag of the GPs and staff who are still staying and trying to keep the NHS afloat. Their job is thankless enough.

I wouldn’t trust these guys to take my temperature correctly.
the reception staff are horrendous, medical gaslighting at its finest. Shockingly bad public service.

Horrible experience with this practice. I booked a telephone appointment 3 times to follow up my medication, and every time they never called. I decided I didn't need to talk to them anymore, I just needed my repeat prescription. Well it turns out they just cancelled my prescription because I needed a monthly follow-up with the doctor for the medication which I "didn't book". I explained to the receptionist that I never got a call back anytime I booked a telephone appointment, she apologised and said she would make sure I would get called the next time. The 4th telephone appointment? Never got a call. I don't think I have to explain how dangerous it is to just cancel a patient's repeat prescription without clarifying this with them first.

I have to say the receptionists are friendly and helpful though. The doctors however don't seem to care.

The receptionists and nurses are rude and liars, trying to get away from their job. They've wasted my time, and have lost 3 different sets of samples to which I still have no answers on my results. This could potentially be life threatening, inhumane staff who have no shame.

This place is not fit for purpose.

Both myself and my sister have had appointments with GPs at this practice over the past several years due to poor health. My sister has been told there is nothing wrong with her and that perhaps she needs antidepressants. As did I.

I have recently managed to save up and get private tests done and it turns out I may have a progressive lifelong autoimmune disorder (if untreated may lead to cancer) which the GP failed to pick up on for YEARS. Apparently the patient is expected to know what blood tests to ask and unless the patient asks for this specific test the GP will not come up with it themself.

Why do we need the GP is my question- especially if I am expected to diagnose, request the correct tests and treat myself before I even ask to see them?

I am not a GP but I could see my sister deteriorating right before my eyes for months and as we realised she was not going to receive any help through the GP we decided to go privately ABROAD.

My sister is now getting more tests done privately as this GP practice has patched her and she had to wait almost 2 years in regular pain for one of the GPs to finally refer her somewhere. This led nowhere because with next to no testing and only a family history and a couple of questions she was told she's good to go! I had no idea the consultants acquired some magic scanning vision throughout the pandemic not to need any blood tests done to diagnose and treat patients! All other appointments have so far been cancelled or re-scheduled several times.

This is probably endemic to the NHS but to have someone who has been going to their GP regularly complaining about the same symptoms progressing for months to have them wait 6 months for a specialist referral (this is then rescheduled a week before appointment and set another 6-12 months in the future) is absolutely disgraceful. Why was it rescheduled? We're not told. What happened to the time the original appointment was? We're not told. Why are there no other appointments available until a year into the future?

It literally seems like they are waiting for people to die in the meantime to reduce the backlog they created by refusing to see patients over the last few years. All GP appointments are now not available for at least 2 month into the future. But in the meantime please do work full time BeCaUsE ThErE iS NoThInG WrOnG WiTh YoU.

THEY HAVE GIVEN ME A PRESCRIPTION FOR MEDICINES I NEED TO TAKE EVERYDAY TO FINCTION. THEY THEN CANCELLED IT AFTER IVE PICKED IT UP. I ONLY FOUND OUT THEY CANCELLED MY PRESCRIPTION WHEN I WENT TO THE PHARMACY TO GET IT FILLED.

THIS GP PRACTICE AND THE GPS WORKING WITHIN IT ARE ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND SPITEFUL.

I HAVE NOW MOVED TO ANOTHER PRACTICE.

My cry for help was dismissed completely. All I needed was a referral for someone to talk to as emergency help for my mental health and this gp couldn’t even help me with that as it’s not their “sector”? All I needed was a referral to a counselor. Very disappointing

I had not a great experience here.

It isn’t possible to book an appointment if you call in the afternoon. You must call only at 8.30, waiting a lot of time and then the receptionist just inform the doctor who will call you later.
Then they phone me back asking to send photos about my illness and then the doctor called me back asking general questions.

End of story: he gave me some prescriptions but never visiting me in person. In my perspective this is not a good service because miss that component of empathy and i had no reassurance from a specialist.

I heard that this system of ‘visit in remote’ started with pandemic and i agree initially with that. But after three years now is the moment to visit the people in the premises.
