Good location for the museum, but the meter swallowed £2 and wouldn't return it, then the app has a 20p transaction fee for the privilege of paying.

Machine swallowed ny cash. Had to pay via phone app - *phoneandpay*..
Once you've managed to register to pay it's very handy for the museums.
Doesn't feel secure, with no noticeable CCTV and poor street lighting. The pedestrian path to William Brown St brings you into potential conflict with museum/library/art gallery staff.
The app is even worse than people have said. Avoid. Machine cash only.
Don't bother. Since Liverpool Council have giving over to a private firm it has become impossible to pay. The machines don't work as you have to download an app to make payment which takes forever to set up. Don't waste your time.
