American University Library

The alumni benefits for this library are truly amazing! I got my PhD at another institution and the second I graduated they completely shut me out. but when I moved back to DC and got a library card to American University, I have had everything I could possibly want for my research and personal reading, and the librarians have even helped me out finding academic articles! it is so generous and wonderful, and I am so grateful to come back to the library where I first discovered the world as an undergraduate student 20 years ago.

what COLLEGE has a library that closes at 11:30 except for 1 floor. Embarrassment to the school. If you plan on coming to AU make sure you don't plan on studying cause theres no where to go :)

Great library, best university one in DC. I’m not a student but come here often to read and do work and I love it so much. The staff are also very kind and helpful. Thanks so much for providing this great community resource ♥️

The AU Music Library is a vibrant, unique, and essential service in the American University community. Its staff are welcoming and knowledgeable of their collections, and the space offers a wide variety of services and technologies available to visitors.

Still visit this library as an alumni. Nice, quiet, clean. Friendly atmosphere.

I had a great experience here. I came by to get a book and though I am not a student they were able to assist me in ways that my university couldn't. Everyone was very helpful.

My only issue was getting here. Google kept trying to get me to go to the Music Library but alas, I made it. 5 Stars.

Great university library. I used to use this library when I was in high school, better than other university libraries that I've used. Biggest issue is parking.
