Uhud Mountain Cave

Mount Uhud (Arabic: جَبَل أُحُد, romanized: Jabal Uḥud) is a mountain north of Medina, in the Hejazi region of Saudi Arabia. It is 1,077 m (3,533 ft) high and 7.5 km (4.7 mi) long. It was the site of the second battle between the Islamic prophet Muhammad and the polytheists of his tribe of Quraysh. The Battle of Uhud was fought on 19 March, 625 CE, between a force from the small Muslim community of Medina and a force from Mecca, in north-western Arabia.

SubhanAllah... May all our troubles and challenges in life, will bring us closer to Him. The hill, the rock, the tree...will be the witnesses of our visit here and till we meet again in jannah..

The Cave’s access is closed to public with a fence. However, it is visible from the road leading to it.

Historical place, must see to know the pain, suffering our Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) and his companions had gone through to spread the religion of Islam.

The Cave of Mount Uhud (Arabic: غار جبل احد) is a naturally formed cave on the side of Mount Uhud facing Masjid-e-Nabwi. It is where the Prophet (ﷺ) took refuge after being wounded during the Battle of Uhud. He was carried there on the back of Talha (رضي الله عنه).

Blessed Mountain and surrounding areas where the Holy Prophet saw walked on. Untouched and still in its original form. Was an amazing experience to visit such places still so real and raw. You don’t get such a feeling and connection from a photo. I highly recommend people to read and learn about the events that took place leading up to the battle of Uhud and what happened during and after the battle. May Allah shower his countless blessing on the Holy Prophet saw and his spiritual progeny.
