Muadh bin Jabal (رضي الله عنه) was once in search of Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ), persistently inquiring about his whereabouts until he ultimately discovered him in prostration within this cave. The Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ) remained in prostration for an extended period, then conveyed, “Jibraeel came to me and conveyed Allah's salam, asking, 'How would you like me to deal with your community?' I replied, 'Allah knows best!' Jibraeel departed and later returned, relaying, 'He assures you that He will not cause you distress due to your community.' Upon hearing this, I prostrated, as the ultimate act a servant can perform to draw closer to God is prostration."

The walk is simple, little bit steep and takes only few minutes to reach the top.

Climate was very hot moreover tired but I finished the mountain end of the point and it is adventure trucking
The best time to go is before shubuh to see the sunrise and to avoid the scorching sun. The hike needs physical strength and agility. Make sure you stay hydrated.
This is steep mountain but thankfully the stairs make it easier to hike to the top!As an active and sportive person, it took me 40 minutes in total to reach the top (the top is where the people are praying in one of the videos attached). But I took like 6 breaks to enjoy the view, and take pictures. On the way down, it took 50 minutes.
Recommendations:
- Bring a couple of water bottles with you.
- Definitely wear a hat, and preferably a pair of sunglasses because the heat hits you directly, and it is pretty dry.
- The way to the Hira Cave is located after reaching the top (go forward and down the stairs). The cave path is pretty narrow as you'll have to squeeze yourself in there. So if you are not physically capable, better not trying.
Overall reach top station goosebumps moment and grateful

This historical place inspires us that set up a leader in Islam is the first priority to manage ummah.

Mount Uhud (Arabic: جَبَل أُحُد, romanized: Jabal Uḥud) is a mountain north of Medina, in the Hejazi region of Saudi Arabia. It is 1,077 m (3,533 ft) high and 7.5 km (4.7 mi) long. It was the site of the second battle between the Islamic prophet Muhammad and the polytheists of his tribe of Quraysh. The Battle of Uhud was fought on 19 March, 625 CE, between a force from the small Muslim community of Medina and a force from Mecca, in north-western Arabia.

Great historical place to visit

Islamic most historical place. Like it loved it and proud to be here.

It is just walking distance from Ghazwa e khandaq place (Battle of trench). It is less known Islamic visiting place (Ziyarah) than many others.
It is also known as the Cave of Prostration. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was known to have prostrated here in the cave upon receiving a message from Allah through the Angel Jibraeel. He was also reported to have spent some nights in this cave during the Battle of Khandaq(Trench).
Climbing is forbidden by Govt authorities and surrounding area covered by metal mash from all sides. Local person confirmed that sometimes militants also come here.
There is also a warning board placed, written in English, Arabic and Urdu : "No military zone" (Entrance to militant area not allowed).
Cave is not far away from the ground, just 5 minutes easy climbing up distance as told one of my friends. It is not an ordinary cave but space under a big stone on the mountain which can be see from the ground.
Anyways it was good experience to visit this Holy place. Recommended👍👍

Enjoyed our outing to this historical fortress to learn more about the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Riyadh in particular.

Alhamdulillah I have got the opportunity to run there.
May Allah(swt) forgive us all .

Overall, when you reach the top as well as the cave, read the story of the Hira Cave even if you are a Sheikh or an Imam because it gives you goosebumps to materially see the cave where prophet Muhammad (pbuh) has received the first revelations of the Quran!

I was surprised about this lovely place. Coming from outside, is so good to see how they explain some history from Saudi, and learn the culture. Interactive Museum, easy to follow. The people was so kind with me, so I totally recommend this place if you visit Riad.

Zamzam water is the most blessed water on Earth. Anyone drinking this water will be cured of any disease. It's a miracle, a clear sign of Islam.

Blessed to have been given a chance and opportunity to be able to visit this two historical mountains in Islam for multiple times.
The history of Safah and Marwah in Makkah dates back to ancient times and holds great significance in Islamic tradition. These two hills, located within the precincts of the Grand Mosque in Makkah, have a deep connection to the story of Hajar (Hagar) and her son Ismail (Ishmael), as mentioned in the Quran.
According to Islamic belief, Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) was commanded by Allah to leave his wife Hajar and their infant son Ismail in the barren valley of Makkah. As Ibrahim left them with limited provisions, Hajar ran between the hills of Safah and Marwah seven times in search of water for her thirsty child. It is said that on her seventh run, she heard a voice and discovered a spring known as Zamzam miraculously gushing forth from beneath Ismail's feet.
This incident became a symbol of trust in Allah's providence and unwavering faith for Muslims worldwide. The act of running between Safah and Marwah during Hajj (pilgrimage) or Umrah (lesser pilgrimage) has become an integral part of these rituals. Pilgrims retrace Hajar's footsteps by performing Sa'i, which involves running or walking briskly between the two hills seven times.
Over time, these hills were leveled out during various expansions of the Grand Mosque complex. However, their historical significance remains intact. Today, Safah and Marwah are marked by green pillars within the mosque area to indicate the starting point for Sa'i during Hajj and Umrah.
In recent years, Saudi Arabia has undertaken extensive renovations to accommodate the increasing number of pilgrims visiting Makkah. The area surrounding Safah and Marwah has been expanded with air-conditioned tunnels connecting both hills. This development ensures ease and comfort for pilgrims while performing Sa'i throughout the year.
The story of Safah and Marwah serves as a reminder of the strength and resilience of Hajar, who demonstrated unwavering faith and trust in Allah's plan. It also symbolizes the importance of perseverance and seeking divine guidance in times of hardship. The hills continue to be a place of spiritual significance, where millions of Muslims from around the world come to fulfill their religious obligations and connect with the rich history of Islam.

Safa and Marwa, also known as Saee, are two small hills located within the Masjid al-Haram in Makkah. Walking between these hills is a significant ritual of both Hajj and Umrah.
The journey between these hills reminds you of the story of Hagar's desperate search for water for her son Ishmael. This historical connection makes each step between Safa and Marwa heavy with meaning.
The path is now modernized, making it easier for pilgrims. It's covered and air-conditioned, which is a relief given the hot climate. Floors are marked to guide the pilgrims, ensuring an orderly flow.
But despite the modern facilities, the essence of Saee remains. As you walk, there's a feeling of unity, seeing so many people from different parts of the world, all there for the same purpose. The spiritual energy is tangible, making Saee an unforgettable part of the pilgrimage.

It was such a great place to visit for your guests from abroad to take a glimpse on the history, way of living in the early civilizations and rich culture of KSA, specifically Riyadh.

If you are in the vicinity good place to visit, doesn't take too long and there is no ticket. However, they only allow families to enter. Top the day off with some fresh juice or ocr cream - depending on your choice - from the market closeby.

Alhamdulillah Rebil Alemin.
It is difficult for me to express my feelings about Hajj because everyone's views and feelings are different.
I wish all the Muslim brothers and sisters, may Allah bless you!!!!!

It was very hot still we visited the ancient masjids on the hills and prayed. The new Masjid we offered Asr Salah. Washrooms were OK.

This is a blessed place where the first “wahi” was sent to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ with the word “IQRA”.
Wonderful experience to summit the mountain and visiting cave. However there is a clear lack of cleanliness by the government which should have been there for management.

Such a history.
Loved the environment, neatly kept, air-conditioned.
Over crowded can be avoided in the park by the staff there by limiting the entry of the bachelors.

للأسف الموقع التراثي مهمل ومنسي من محافظة الدوادمي والهيئة السعودية للسياحة..لايوجد اهتمام ابداً مقارنة بمحافظة شقراء وأشيقر التراثية وبقية مناطق المملكة

Alhamdulillah, mashaAlllah, tabarakAllah.. alhamdulillah, wassykurulillah, wani'matalillah.. Pilgrims going to Hajj or Umrah remember this story and run forth and back between Safa and Marwa to commemorate Hajar's love for her son and belief in Allah. InshaAllah, will come back again!

The most blessed holy water on earth is zamzam. It itself is the sign of purity. Whoever wishes to recover from any sickness he should drink it with the intention of getting shefah from it. May Allah grant his dua. Say bismillah before drinking zamzam and drink while standing after drinking say Alhamdulillah and make dua.

Alhumdulillah lucky to be here! It’s centre of universe and holy place for all the Muslims. One has to experience its aura and vibrations to get a sense of this place. Allah hu akbar

In sirah Rasulullah SAW, this is location or place where the specific meeting immediately after our Prophet Muhammad SAW death in which his succession was debated.

It's a fantastic islamic historical place

al-Masjid al-Ḥarām, lit. 'The Sacred Mosque'), also known as the Grand Mosque or the Great Mosque of Mecca,[5] is a mosque enclosing the vicinity of the Kaaba in Mecca, in the Mecca Province of Saudi Arabia. It is a site of pilgrimage in the Hajj, which every Muslim must do at least once in their lives if able, and is also the main phase for the ʿUmrah, the lesser pilgrimage that can be undertaken any time of the year. The rites of both pilgrimages include circumambulating the Kaaba within the mosque. The Great Mosque includes other important significant sites, including the Black Stone, the Zamzam Well, Maqam Ibrahim, and the hills of Safa and Marwa

An important historical palace that shouldn’t be missed. The museum exhibits important events of the Kingdom from the battles to reunification are just two of them. The staffs are friendly, there is a free guided tour which I recommend you should take. After visiting this museum, you will have a lot more curiosity which makes you visit other historical museums. Highly recommended to visit!

Jabal al-Nour, also known as the "Mountain of Light," is a mountain located near the city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. Within Jabal al-Nour, there is a significant cave known as the Hira Cave. This cave holds great religious and historical significance in Islam.
According to Islamic tradition, it is believed that the Prophet Muhammad received his first revelations from Allah (God) in the Hira Cave. This event marked the beginning of the revelations that would later form the basis of the Islamic holy book, the Quran.
Hira Cave is a popular pilgrimage site for Muslims, who visit it to pay their respects and reflect upon the beginnings of the Islamic faith. The cave itself is relatively small, and visitors often climb the mountain to reach it. The ascent can be challenging, but many pilgrims consider it a spiritually rewarding experience.

Love to visit saba mosque..ghazwa khadaq place

We had visited the seven mosques as part of madina ziyarath, the seven mosques is a complex of mosques that are often visited by pilgrims during the Hajj season.
The largest among the 7 mosque is Al-Fath Mosque also known as Al-Ahzab Mosque.
This masjid was also called Al-Fath because the Quran’s Al-Fath Surah was revealed in that location as the battle’s result ended in triumph for Muslims.

The Holy Places of Masjidil Haram
Masjidil Haram is located in the city of Makkah and it is the largest mosque in the world. Masjidil Haram building has the circle shape. The structure area of Masjidil haram is around 656.800 square metres including the outdoor and indoor. Masjidil Haram can receive more than one million people. Then, it consist of 3 floors and it has seven tower . Beside that, this mosque has 4 main door and 45 extra door. Masjidil Haram is the holiest mosque in the world and it is the primary destination of the pilgrimage who do hajj or umroh. The specialty of Masjidil Haram is “prayer in Masjidil Haram is more eminent than 100.000 times prayer in the other mosque.” It is really amazing. Masjidil Haram has some holy places, there are Ka’bah, Hijr Ismail, Maqam Ibrahim, Safa Marwah hills and Zam-Zam well.
First, Masjidil Haram has a square building. It is Ka’bah. The foundation of Ka’bah is made from marble. The thickness of marble is 25 cm at least. Ka’bah is the first building on the earth which is used as a qiblat in moslem prayer piety, so that Ka’bah become a center building in Masjidil Haram. Then, Ka’bah is the most sacred site in islam and all of moslem around the world face the Ka’bah during prayer, no matter where they are. All of moslem who do hajj or umroh have to around the Ka’bah seven times, it is called tawaf. Every wall corner of Ka’bah has name. The north side is Rukun Iraqi (Irak), the south side is Rukun Yamani (Yaman), the west side is Rukun Syami (Suriah) and the east side is Rukun Aswad (Hajar Aswad). Next, Ka’bah has a shutter wall. It is kiswah. Kiswah is made from gold thread and is adorned with Al-Qur’an callighraphy. The width of the Kiswah is 658 m2. Also, Ka’bah has Al- Burk. Al-Burk is the gold door and it is made from gold 99 carats. The weight of Al-Burk is 280 kg. In addition, Hajar Aswad is a black stone. It is in the corner of tawaf. Hajar Aswad consist of 8 piece silver circle. Ka’bah is very wonderful and has a lot of history.
Second, one of part from Ka’bah is Hijr Ismail. Hijr Ismail is located in the north side of Ka’bah. It is covered by a short wall (Al-Hatim) and it is circle shape. Hijr Ismail is the foundation of Ibrahim’s family. In this place, many people who do hajj or umroh piety do sunnah prayer directly because Hijr Ismail is a good place to pray.
Third, in Masjidil Haram is found Maqam Ibrahim. The Maqam Ibrahim is a rock that has an imprint of Ibrahim's foot which is kept in a crystal dome next to the Ka’bah. Maqam Ibrahim faces with Al-Burk. Maqam Ibrahim is caressed by people who do hajj or umroh piety.
Fourth, Masjidil Haram mosque has two hills, there are As-Safa and Al-Marwah. Safa and Marwah hills are located approximately half a mile from the Ka’bah. The distance between Safa and Marwah are 450 m or 1.480 feet. Safa and Marwah are two small hills and it is the place to do sa’i. Sa’i begins from Safa to Marwah. When the moslem do sa’i in Safa and Marwah, they are travel back and forth for seven times. Among Safa and Marwah are found the green pillar. Besides, among Safa and Marwah sets some tap water. The tap water originates from Zam-Zam Well, so moslem who feel thirsty when she/ he does sa’i in Safa and Marwah, they can drink the water directly as satisfied as possible.
The last is Zam-Zam Well. The name of the well traditionally comes from the phrase Zomë-Zomë. Zam-zam water originates from spring in the base land of Masjidil Haram, it is called Zam-Zam Well. It is located around 20 m (66 feet) at southeast of Ka’bah. Zam-Zam Well taps ground water from the Wadi Alluvium lining and it spurts water non-stop. The well has never gone dry despite the millions of liters of water consumed every year. Zam-zam water has no colour or smell, and has a distinct taste.
All in all, Masjidil Haram is the greatest mosque. It is the most special mosque in the world because the holy places in Masjidil Haram is very extraordinary and astonishing. Also, Masjidil Haram becomes center mosque in the world.

Safa and Marwa are two small hills, connected to the larger Abu Qubais and Qaiqan mountains, respectively, in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, now made part of the Masjid al-Haram. Muslims travel back and forth between them seven times in what is known as Sa'ee ritual pilgrimages of Ḥajj and Umrah.
Muslims run between the two mountains (called Sa'ee), which they believe was made a ritual as a tribute to Hajar's search for water in the area when she ran out of provisions after Ibrahim left her in the valley upon Allah's command. The space between the two mountains in which the pilgrims run is called al-Mas'aa.
The distance between Safa and Marwa is approximately 450m, therefore, seven trips back and forth amount to roughly 3.6 Km.

Banu Anif Masjid, also known as Musbeh Mosque, is one such place of worship in the holy city where the prophet PBUH prayed when he was visiting the companion Talha bin Al Bara. The mosque belongs to Banu Unaif people, who have alliances with Banu Ame bin Auf from the Aws, the people of Quba, adding that it is told that Prophet Muhammad PBUH used to visit the great companion Talha Al-Bara there.
The mosque is situated in Banu Unaif village’s historical area of Osbah, where several people who had embraced Islam had gathered before the Prophet PBUH when he migrated from Makkah to Madinah. According to historians, Musbah mosque was named as such because Muhammad PBUH prayed in it the morning of the day of Hijrah. The unroofed stone mosque has been renovated recently.

Saudi Arabia is finally waking up to the need for opening its historical assets to tourism; for decades it had closed off these heritage sites on account of a policy to ward off "unwanted" religious activities (which means "innovative" practices frowned upon by classical literalism that the Saudi establishment espouses).

This garden is near Masjid e Nabwi. In this garden Muslims choose their first Caliph (Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddique, RA) after demise of Holy Prophet (PHUH).

It will be a beautiful experience, in which you will get to know the Saudi culture, and how the kingdom began. There is also an exhibition of Saudi coffee, in which you will learn about the types of coffee and its tools.
I recommend it as a tourist destination
Parking cost 5 riyals an hour.

The city was known by having a number of sheds, including Saqifat Bni Saedah because of the great historic event which has been signed to swear allegiance to Abu Bakr Alsiddiq after the death of the Prophet peace be upon him. The shed is located on the northwestern side of the holy mosque, and was among the houses the tribe of Bani Saedah Alkhozrgiah and which the Sahaabi Saad bin Maaz is from. It was close to Bida'ah well and then this shed was transformed later on to a building, its form changed through the ages, and was recently transferred to a park overlooking directly on the western wall of the mosque of Prophet Mohammad in the recent enlargement.

The Cave of Mount Uhud (Arabic: غار جبل احد) is a naturally formed cave on the side of Mount Uhud facing Masjid-e-Nabwi. It is where the Prophet (ﷺ) took refuge after being wounded during the Battle of Uhud. He was carried there on the back of Talha (رضي الله عنه).

This place referrers to the location of an event in early Islam where some of the companions of the Islamic prophet Muhammad gathered and pledged their allegiance to Abu Bakr, as the successor of Muhammad and the first caliph. The event at Saqifah,
took place shortly after Muhammad's death in 11 AH (632 CE),

Blessed Mountain and surrounding areas where the Holy Prophet saw walked on. Untouched and still in its original form. Was an amazing experience to visit such places still so real and raw. You don’t get such a feeling and connection from a photo. I highly recommend people to read and learn about the events that took place leading up to the battle of Uhud and what happened during and after the battle. May Allah shower his countless blessing on the Holy Prophet saw and his spiritual progeny.

Beautiful and quite area. The blessed Prophet retreated here from the plain of Uhud whilst injured. His blessed tooth was buried by the Cave but then taken to topkapi palace. Was good to follow his footsteps to both caves, ground floor Cave he rested his blessed head and the Cave wall became soft and a hollow is there, the Cave a little higher cracked open especially for the blessed prophet as he retreated up the mountain so the quraysh horsemen could not attack him. Unfortunately the caves have been cemented in a few years ago, but you can still stand near them. There are also runins of a mini mosque where the blessed prophet prayed.

Historical place in the middle of Riyadh .. well planned and clean. Old mosque architecture exploring and have a place to eat and drink . Recommend at night.

Old castle in middle of old Riyadh town

In My mind feeded that place ( 3 year's )
Since people are there in Makka so in addition to Umrah they believe visiting other holy places is important. Although visiting these places is not part of Umrah but recommended to visit. Here are places in Makka to visit and if you will hire a taxi they will show you all of these. You can take your own taxi or you can use shared conveyance both options are there. Keep in mind if you want to climb on top of Ghar e Sore then you need one sided conveyance as no taxi will stop there and also you have to consider time factor in order to return and pray in Haram. Take water and some biscuits with you and your shoes should not be slippery as mountains there are very solid and slippery. In Arabic Jabal means mountain.
To keep naming convention I have not used word Cave so for information Ghar is called Cave.
In this Ghar Muhammad (PBUH) and Abu Baker Sidique hided them self while migrating to Madina for 3 days from Quraish. Wehn Quraish reached to this Ghar they noticed spider web and birds nests there so they returned back. Very few people visit this Ghar due to its height and time factor.

Pretty massive improvement and development since last time I visited, good historical place to get to know Saudi and Riyadh history. It's my favourite place to go and watch people, the spectrum is reflective on many different levels.

This place has fundamental eminence in the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Very well managed, arranged and organized, assisted by historic experts, equipped with multimedia and visual guidance, explaining almost every inch of the history relevant to this place.
Outside, it’s amazing surroundings, in heart of the downtown of the city, neighboring biggest Masjid of the city, families come, stay, eat and enjoy their time, especially evenings and mid nights.
Foreigners are well served with guidance and support, hospitality and other services. There is a small historical gift shop and it’s good to spend some time here.

So in this connection Ty his Masjid have only sign but some boundary wall about one to two feet is constructed. Also there is date garden near this place.
