I was longing to see this little Italy, very disappointing that it really wasn’t, since Toronto is 3 X times more than my province, oh well. I stopped here, the girl was friendly but not too much asking me how is the food, I ordered the sand but they do not have a pannini grill
It was good though
Coffee latte was just ok
It did not feel comfortable too much, washroom awkward down the stairs , no wheelchair accessible old place I guess the building
I do not like to touch door knobs, there was a another door to come back in
Could use more nicer deco, more food display
Music! Something about the Mayor and cost
That I hope changes with the Mayor? Do not know too much about that to play some Italian music if it was me who owns it, I would change some things but all in all, nice little place, good hearty sandwich and it was good

Waitress explained kindly that they do not allow outside food (our plan was to pick up dessert solely from there, so we had other food), but allowed us to order to-go. They were very kind about it. The tiramisu was a solid 4/5, it was good, but I’ve had better. Thought the slice was a little expensive (10) for the size of it.
Great mom and pop shop. Wish we had a place like this in Victoria, BC. Great crepes and ice cream. Regular food not so good. They specialize in deserts.
It's nice coffee with good food and friendly staff! We need better chairs outside more comfortable! I wished to stay longer 😅
Ice Cream, waffles, and coffee are always good. The atmosphere is excellent. However, the service is inconsistent depending on the time of your visit.
Service was very, very slow. We waited so long just for menus, order, then the bill. The food/drinks were pretty quick though.

Since 1959 peeps! Now that is a long time in any business but in the food industry it’s unheard of. Maybe this is why you stay with time honoured, by hand recipes. No gelato mixes here! Classic granitas, great sandwiches, but always always come for the lemon and chocolate gelato. There is nothing finer.
Keeping it in the family creates delicious products that are classics that never go out of style. Add a good coffee and a few biscotti and the world is a fine place.
