I’ve taken a couple different classes around the city and Julie's studio is by far my favourite. Julie is incredibly patient and warm with all her students, no matter if you’re a beginner or experienced potter. Her studio is clean, organized and welcoming. The smaller class sizes give you way more one on one time and help. She will guide you but also great at following your lead and helping bring your ideas to life.
If you’re looking for a new hobby or just to hang with some good people, then Shaw st. Pottery is the place 💕

I took the 6 week course and had a terrific time! This was my first time with classes in ceramics. I made some wonderful pieces like coffee mugs, a plate and some beautiful little pinch pots. Julie is an awesome teacher! She’s so kind and we had a lot of laughs in this small group setting. The studio is the cosiest place to learn. Just loved it!

I've been taking classes at Shaw Street Pottery for nearly a year now and it is one of my favourite places to be in the city. Julie is a wonderful instructor and provides excellent support and guidance for every skill level. The studio is warm, intimate, and well stocked to help you create whatever you can dream up. I fell in love with pottery here and am so glad I found Julie and her studio.

Shaw Street Pottery was the best experience ever! I had so much fun and the instructor is so kinda and helpful. She let us be creative and we got to make lots of cool items. I learnt lots and unlocked a new hobby for myself! I highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in trying out pottery! (finished products posted)

I have taken several classes with Julie and have loved every single one of them! The calm, intimate small classes really lend themselves to a relaxing, enjoyable pottery experience, and Julie really knows her way around pottery techniques and has great tips and tricks I haven't gotten from other studios!
