Beautiful beach that has soft sand you can walk far out into the water on, but also gets deep enough that you need to swim!! Perfect for kids!!

We've camped many time at Bass Lake. It's really very nice and we enjoy it very much. As with all parks, some sites are better than others. There a lot of water taps and toilets so the right site can be very accessible. I think there are 2 comfort stations but the one we used had the disabled parking at the bottom of a pretty good slope so those with mobility issues may have some difficulty walking to the showers. The walking trails are beautiful & the one by the water seems accessible. I would not tackle the ones in hilltop, significant slopes to walk up.

Gorgeous lake with nice beach! Clean restrooms, playground, picnic area and the convenient store all makes the camping experience very pleasant.

Bass Lake is a nice provincial park. I wouldn't say it's in the woods, though, as it's near barrie and orillia if you need anything. In walking distance is a free hiking trail that has coups with birds. The washrooms were fairly clean. The beach had picnic tables and a nice park. It's sandy and there are washrooms and the park store near by. Normally I'd say it's busy but when I went July 2023 it was good! Staff are helpful as always.

We go camping at Bass Lake Provincial Park on Victoria Day. This is our first time camping in Canada and it is a good experience. Bass Lake is just around 1 hour 15 minutes drive from Toronto, quite convenient and we are surprised to find that the entire campsite is full and busy! Each camp site is separated by small brushes and we can hear people talking on the phones, babies crying etc. There are 2 men having a loud conversation next to our camp which is unpleasant as we want to enjoy the nature with less disturbance. There is a tap water nearby and the public washroom/shower (total 5 shower rooms) is just a few minutes walk. Our campsite comes with 1 picnic table and 1 open fire. We use charcoal to make camp fire. Our campsite can accommodate 2 tents and 2 cars. Parking permit for the 2nd car is $12.50 +tax.

It is more of a camping or kayaking place. The trails are short and boring. Walked the waterfront trail, which is abot 3km in a loop. Abundant picnic tables, picnic shelters washrooms. The weather was a little chilly with about 45 gust wind. The place was not busy on a weekday.

This lake park is relatively small. Beach area is also very small and gets filled up very quick just with few families. Very limited parking spaces.

Though neat and Clean overall but spaces are very tight.

Their Kayak rental options are good. Staff is friendly, some scenes are great. BBQ is allowed and fun doing it.
