The bald guy that's the boss of this place was extremely rude and racist. Do not support this place if you actually believe black people should be treated like people. Not to mention there was a woman named Jessica here that called me the B word and her husband said I had nappy hair. He works as a doorman and she works as a manager, I'm disgusted.

The people here are pretty racist, you have white female employees asking to touch your hair if it's different and the head boss describing black women as "Intimidating" also this place has bed bugs in the seats be careful.

Small theater with a very intimate feel. Seating is in a stadium style setup, allowing you to see above and around people better than you can in traditional Broadway theatres.

Every seat provided a great view. Best part is you wait inside away from the elements instead of outside against the building.

The Duke on 42nd Street Theater is a lovely place. It’s not big but it’s beautiful. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We felt very welcomed. We saw “Emojiland The Musical”, directed by Thomas Caruso. Truly loved to see Lucas Steele, Felicia Boswell and Natalie Weiss, and more performing. It was awesome, really enjoyed every second.

Staff are wonderful. Theater seating was a little tight. But it was a nice theater. The play was beautifully performed and written. The outfits was excellent and well as the actors and actresses. A must see show. It hit almost all emotions. I would definitely go back to this theater.

This is a small performance space with clear sight lines from every seat. Sound is good too.
The only negative is the temperature. It is absolutely freezing in the theater. I almost had to leave the performance. I am not the only one who felt this way.

I worked at this place a few years ago and the white female employees would if they could touch my hair and I would politely decline, so they went to the hire ups and told them that I was "Intimidating" and that they were afraid of me. So instead of them believing me when I told them I simply told them they couldn't touch my hair the hire up (Head boss) and all called me to their office and told me what those women said and that they agreed with their statement so they decided to terminate me, after I tried to explain what happened I was ignored and security was called on me to escort me out the building, I was extremely hurt because this was my first time experiencing such racism in the work place. They didn't pay much, kept employees in hot elevators without A.C for majority of the day and purposely hired college students because they could pay them less. It was awful to work for them and the worst experience.
