Been here twice. A place I never knew existed (but I'm new to Edinburgh). Good luck with whoever takes on this venue.

Excellent venue run by an incredible staff!! The Adam Holmes show was such an unexpected treat and we were mesmerized!! We wish he’d move to Atlanta so we could see a lot more of his amazing talent!

The staff made us very welcome. Good prices for the drinks. Just a little too quiet for us to stay any longer

Upcoming SoundHouse 'pop-up' Jazz / Trad Folk looking good - cheap tickets for all events, £15. They have put a lot of work into getting the place ready; quite a atmosphere created, should be an "in" place for this wet Festival!

Building has 3 venues, and a public bar with free music - also, the bars will be run by Edinburgh's best secret brewery, Bellfield, fab craft 🍻 beers

Check out SoundHouse's website for acts

I've only visited this venue twice. The first was during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the most recent for a Christmas dance event.

Although the first visit was OK, principally because it was to see a 3 man tap dancing show, the second visit was way less than satisfactory. It was to see a classical dance show that, after buying the tickets, had been transferred from its original venue. It was most definitely not suited to the venue and vice versa.

The auditorium was on the top level of the building. It had most uncomfortable seating (horse shoe shaped pew style wooden benches).

The stage was too small for the performance, with dancers clearly having to shorten their stride to stay clear of the edge of the raised stage. The basic scenery was an ill fit with poor masking.

I thought that I was going to be attending a professional standard performance.

At £34 per ticket, this can only be described as an overpriced amateurish event.

I'm bias as my grand daughter was performing...but great atmosphere, intimate little theatre for up and coming artists...Nice little bar too.
