Beautiful ride on the river with live jazz band and optional dinner. My husband and I chose the dinner add-on and food was mediocre. We probably would not choose that option again. The ride itself, however, was great with beautiful views of the city and river. The jazz band was awesome!! And kept us entertained throughout the ride. Only wish was that there was more seating near the band to enjoy the show. Overall, we would ride again on our next trip to New Orleans!

I had the opportunity to experience the lunch jazz cruise. It was an absolute delight. The staff was very attentive, ensuring to make our group's experience great.
The lunch was very filling, red beans, jambalaya, catfish, potato salad, and bread pudding.
I wasn't a fan of the potato salad. However, the jambalaya and catfish were the very best part of the meal.
The one and a half hour cruise was very informative as a tour guide shared historical information along the way as a live jazz ensemble played for our entrainment.
I will definitely be back.

The food and service was excellent. The music was awesome! By far the most fun we had in New Orleans during our stay.

It was a great boat ride. It was about 2 hrs long they even had a stop at Chalmette Battlefield where you could get off and take pictures. The boat had food plates, drinks, snacks, and even adult beverages available for purchase on the boat ride. During the whole trip, a very knowledgeable narrator is explaining the history of New Orleans. We went during the summer, and it was very hot, but they did have a huge area downstairs with a/c and table's available.

We did the jazz tour with dinner, and although the cruise was nice, the dinner was not worth it. The salad was wilted, and the one we had had mold. Beside the salad, everything was delicious, especially the green beans. They have about two cafe(might be more) that serve food, snacks and drinks. I would recommend that over the buffet. Most of the workers are nice except for the older lady who asks what time slot we want for dinner. She is very rude and snappy. Could be just a bad day for her but very unprofessional. The jazz band, along with the tour guide, is very upbeat and informative. We went on July 5th.

Pretty view. Low rating because of combination of price point, cleanliness, service, and time. The jazz music was wonderful. Be sure to arrive early if you want a spot at the top with the band. You can stand for a moment to view if you're late but it is definitely crowded on all levels especially at the top. Also, set aside at least 3 hours for this activity. The tour is 2 hours not including boarding and de-boarding. Line to women's restroom can be long. While I was there, aside from the urine smell was a vomit odor because someone vomited in the sink which wasn't cleaned. I imagine because of how busy they are. It's a a nice sight to see though.

We took the Riverboat City of New Orleans for the cruise. This was a totally delightful experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. The cruise travels down river to the area of the Battle of New Orleans and back, taking about two hours. The dinner is optional, buy it if you like but it is delicious and the service is very friendly. A great way to spend an afternoon.
