Worst service and rotted food. I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Food taste is good, but the place is cramped for room and the service takes a while. If you have a lot of time to kill and want to taste some authentic Indian (Tamil) food, then this is a perfect restaurant. Well priced compared to other Tamil restaurants near Gare du Nord.

An excellent South Indian paratha spot that does not water down its food, or identity for the French market. This naturally means it caters to the South Indian diaspora or people who are familiar with the culinary culture and modus operandi of such eateries. I.e., if you come here expecting the service of a bistro or even a cafe, you’d be sorely disappointed. This spot is a slice of south India in the most charming way. The parottas are freshly made and the mutton curry was excellent. Ask for less spicy options if your dining companions can’t take spicy food. I’ll be back for sure.

I am writing this review because I am pleased about the food and service here. I took two of my friends(Italian and French), and they also enjoyed it. Coming from Tamilnadu, I can easily say the mutton curry is as authentic as how you get it at home. I cried because I was both happy and couldn't tolerate the happiness!! I highly recommend this place!! 💜

Good quality street food in Paris is a rare thing…sometimes one just needs a quick bite of something super tasty that doesn’t cost much. Muniyandi Vilas is a great option for street food in Paris. You can have a proper sit down dining experience here, but my favorite aspect of this restaurant is to dive in quickly and grab parottas and different sauces / accompaniments with a few samosas and then take them to go. The prices are a great value here and it’s a fun change of tastes from usual French food. There is also a small park close by to sit down and eat quickly. Southern Indian / Tamil food is the style of cuisine here…not too spicy either, unless you ask for spicy (which I do). The prices again are super inexpensive for Paris so if you are looking to stretch your food budget and eat really good food…this is your place.
