Great market with lots of history but be aware that prices are massively negotiable and also can get lots of pressure from the shop keepers to buy something

An unforgettable visit to remember. This place is magical! An enriching cultural experience. The people are friendly... Here, you will find a variety of handmade items: Clothing, furs, shoes, spices, fruits, iron, wood... A place where time passes quickly, there is not enough time to see everything... More a wonderful place in Morocco!

This souk market in Marrakesh is an absolute treasure trove! The vibrant hustle and bustle of the busy gathering spot make it an unforgettable experience. From the aromatic spices that transport you to a world of flavors to the tantalizing array of foods and unique items, there's something for everyone here. The colorful stalls and friendly vendors create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Exploring the narrow alleys and discovering hidden gems is an adventure in itself. Whether you're a foodie, a shopper, or simply curious, this souk market is a must-visit.

Nice souk. I felt relatively safe here as a solo female traveller. A range of souvenir options and in walking distance of Riad Arbre Bleu

Great if you're confident! Make sure you dress appropriately, particularly if you're female. High neck, long sleeves, long trousers. Be respectful to the culture

Very chaotic but a very cool experience. Watch out for motorcycles and try not to get run over. Exhausting to be out in, but such an amazing part of visiting Marrakech!

The reason tourists visit Marrakech! The ancient and traditional Medina markets themselves. The quintessential view of Marrakech that must be sampled. Surprisingly clean (observed store holders washing the cobbles in front of their shops). The sights are what you go for, most of the products are overpriced tourist tat, as in other reviews you can get as much as half the price of any goods you wish to buy, just ask them their price, offer them less than half and start negotiating. Feel free to walk away, they may call you back and give you your price or you will find the same items further along. The locals feed the cats well which means there are no vermin, under no circumstances follow anyone telling you where to go as they will try to take you on a tour. The paths twist and turn so if you have a poor sense of direction and get lost try asking another tourist! They'll be easy to spot.
