I took my daughter and my granddaughters to see Addams family last night and it was fabulous!! Please go see this play. You will not be disappointed! This was a10 star show! Standing ovation to the cast and crew! Don't be surprised if you see us there Sunday to see the play again.
I've been both an audience member and performer at Venice Theatre. This is a truly excellent team of people putting on top quality productions. The back-of-house, from the beautifully crafted set designs to the thorough stage management and prop department, is stellar. It is always a pleasure to work on a show with such passionate and talented people- and just as much of a pleasure to experience their storytelling from the audience. Venice is lucky to have this gem in the community!!
We saw Reefer Madness the musical. It was very good. Quite enjoyable and entertaining. The production and actors were many levels above what I was expecting. I'm not a theater goer but I will definitely be going again. As far as I'm concerned it was NOT over priced by anybody standards and is an excellent choice of something different to do ,rather than the same old humdrum choices.
Absolutely amazing performance of The Cementary Club. On our way up, we didn't think it would be as good as it was. Luckily we give everything a try. The actors were great. We had 2 thespian in the group and they really enjoyed the show. Thanks Venice.
This theater is a cultural gem! It offers a variety of plays and concerts. Season subscriptions and single ticket prices are available online, email or by phone call, with no additional charges. Prices are very reasonable. Box office is not open for walk-up sales. Gift certificates and student prices are available. Presently, masks are optional but strongly suggested. Snacks and cocktails are sold before shows and during intermission. A recent World Fest drew theater group performances from all over the world. Venice Theater offers "great stories well played." Check it out.
Great theater and venue. Parking was free, close and orderly getting in and out. Staff was very helpful. Not a bad seat in the house. We were last row in the balcony and could see and hear everything. We saw To Kill a Mockingbird and it was fantastic. Actors, set were great. Tickets were incredibly affordable for such a high quality production.
A lovely, small theater venue with a fine, rotating schedule that features live entertainment of the musical and theatrical variety.
Seating is comfortable. They have a bar with a surprisingly varied menu and you're welcome to take your beverages into the theater. Music filled the main reception area when we were there and the performance of To Kill a Mockingbird was pretty well sold out.
The acting was of solid quality for the size of the venue.
There are two theaters in the facility: one larger than the other, and judging by the posters hanging about the main entry, there are improvements coming to the facility.
If you're looking for live theater in the Venice area for sensible prices, then you need look no further.
