Very nice quiet area, our hotel Novatel Murray Street was excellent and it was very close to stop 16 for the Hop on Hop off bus. Good quality food and a happy hour on drinks everyday between 4pm and 6pm
Darling Harbour is an absolute gem in the heart of Sydney, and a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists. Its vibrant atmosphere, surrounded by stunning views of the city skyline, creates an unforgettable experience. Whether you're strolling along the promenade, exploring the numerous attractions like SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium and the Australian National Maritime Museum, or dining at the diverse range of restaurants, Darling Harbour has something for everyone. The fireworks displays on weekends light up the night sky and add to the magic of this place. It's a perfect blend of culture, entertainment, and natural beauty, making it an iconic part of Sydney that captures the city's essence.
Close to CBD. Easier to access by public transportation here. It was hard and expensive to park around here. More tourists before COVID. There are a lot of restaurants and Cafe around. Some attractions there. I prefer walking in the evenings because not much shelter. Beautiful view. Have free 7-minute fireworks at 9 pm weekend.
Place to visit if you are in Sydney, always buzzing with some activity. Children can have fun time playing in sand and water. You can visit China Garden, watch a movie at the IMAX, or enjoy food at some of the good restaurants. Close to China Town and Paddy's markets.
Our stay was fantastic! The room- Jewel suite was absolutely stunning.
The facilities were great, with hot water and plenty of amenities. The housekeeping was excellent, keeping everything clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Kevin went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. TK at the spa gave me one of the most amazing treatments.
Breakfast was also a highlight, with a variety of options to choose from.
The only issue we ran into was the incessant dog barking- which was quickly remedied by moving to a higher floor.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this property. It is definitely in my top five favorite hotels I have ever stayed in!

Lovely lively place. Sea gulls and tourists enjoying. Little children playing in shallow pools and streams. Many eateries. Clean toilets. Pleasant place. Many landmarks near about . Easy to reach.
Stunning place and a must see in Sydney. With a little bit luck you’ll see the bride opens and close. The attraction there just amazing and there are a lot of restaurants around. For kids, couples and just fast food -everything is there. Even a German Restaurant with German beer. At the evening is almost everyday something happening there. Also checkout online for the next fireworks! There is also a beautiful path to The Rocks -outstanding. The path will bring you to Circular Quay and the opera house.
