Quad Cinema

I saw the new Scorsese film Killers of the Flower Moon here after a rather tense and overstuffed day where it felt my responsibilities were caving in and making it hard to breathe. The movie was tough to watch and put me in a worse headspace. That is not this movie theaters fault. I should look into some healthy outlets for my stress. Unfortunately I can’t say I’d recommend this film. You know, come to think of it, The Irishman was horrible. We put directors on such a high pedestal sometimes that it’s impossible to get away with not seeing their work. I think of myself as a freethinker then I observe my actions retrospectively to reveal my patterns and reflex responses. You can bring your own food in

Quad is a special place. Consistently good, often showcasing small films only available here. A great NYC business to support!

Great art house experience in a beautiful and comfy cinema. Has a great bar as well not to mention an amazing variety of films not seen everywhere. Did I say, also the best prices?

The Quad is a gem of well curated movies including both classics and new independent cinema from both here and abroad. Very comfortable seats(my favorite of any movie theater in New York), good moderately priced concessions that are a cut above the norm(including a bar/cafe) and friendly staff. The Quad is a class act for those who love movies.

amazing selection of indie films, only 4 screens makes this cinema in the center of the village make you feel like a VIP. beautiful and unique installations, a must if you live or visit NYC, as they may be the only chance to see some of the movies who will never be mainstream.

Comfortable seats. Recently renovated. Cozy bar on the side.
