Oh, what a house! Beautiful exterior and interior with class in every decoration detail. The beds invite for staying in the room rather than exploring the treasures of NOLA. Placed on the border between the well-known French Quarter and the more bohemic Faubourg-Marigny with access in a few walking minutes to all of if. And thanks to the Mansion for all personalized tips on where to go, drink, eat, and party. We will definitely come back!

We were fortunate to secure a stay at the Marigny Maisonette during our visit for Southern Decadence. Initially, we had trouble finding accommodation and had our sights set on the Lanaux Mansion, which was unfortunately fully booked. However, we had the pleasure of interacting with Andrea while attempting to book the Lanaux Mansion. She was incredibly helpful and suggested their new property, the Marigny Maisonette, which was just receiving its finishing touches before being leased out.
At the time, there were no pictures of the unit available, but Andrea assured us that we would be delighted with it - and she was absolutely correct. Upon arrival, we entered through a garage door off the street, revealing a charming hidden gem that could have been straight out of an Anne Rice novel. We were welcomed by Menneken Pis before stepping into the courtyard.
Our mornings were spent in this courtyard, planning our day over coffee and fresh baked goods from AYU bakery located just around the corner. The Maisonette is perfect for two couples, with a common area on the main floor and two large bedrooms upstairs, each with its own full bathroom and balcony. Access to these bedrooms is via a winding staircase which can be a bit tricky with large suitcases or for those who have difficulty with stairs. However, these minor inconveniences only added to the charm of the place.
The updates to the property have been done tastefully, preserving its historic essence. The location is unbeatable - within walking distance to French Man Street, numerous bars with live music, Bourbon Street, Royal Street, the market and many other attractions. We love the Marigny neighborhood and always try to stay in this area when visiting New Orleans.
We will definitely choose Marigny Maisonette for our future visits to New Orleans. A big thank you to Andrea for her assistance. Five stars!

Wow!! What a beautiful place!! My husband and I stayed at Sophie's cottage to celebrate our 9 year anniversary. The pictures online don't do it justice. Just entering the gate, we felt as though we had been transported back in time (but with some big tech updates). Decor was spot on. The kitchen is well stocked. And don't get me started on the bed. It was like sleeping on a cloud! The location is great, the locals are lovely, and the grounds are well kept. We are already planning our trip to return next year. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

This was the PERFECT spot for us! We loved it! Right there in the French Quarter, walking to restaurants and music was fantastic. The room itself was a private apartment with a full living room and a bedroom/bathroom and then a kitchen and kitchenette with a balcony off the front and street view on the other side. Just perfect! The street noise was loud but it's New Orleans and we were so tired at the end of the day, it didn't bother us much at all. Loved our stay and would easily choose it again!

We stayed in the cottage suite and absolutely loved the property, the buildings, the furnishings and location. Very spacious especially considering being in the French quarter. Kitchen was well stocked but no cooking allowed since the stove was disconnected from power/gas. Wasn't needed though, since there are fantastic restaurants in every direction and music lovers will enjoy jazz and live bands in most established and many street corners.

Absolutely stunning! We booked a suite to get ready in for my wedding day and it looked like a dream. The house is beautiful and well-kept. I will definitely return on my next trip to New Orleans!

Lanaux Mansion was amazing. It was beautiful. The courtyard was awesome. Our stay had everything we needed. Staff was extremely polite. I can say for us, there was plenty of K cups, juices, milk, and even laundry detergent. Location was incredible; we pretty much walked everywhere it's so close to so much. Some of the best live bar music I ever heard was a two minute walk. Will definitely stay again next time.
