Vaso was a very nice bar, with two bands each night and really good blues music. Unfortunately it and the entire corner has been closed for more than a year. The entire building is under major construction and is enclosed by chain link fencing to keep anyone out. It is unclear if they will ever return or if the building is being repurposed.

Vaso was one of the cleaner places we visited on Frenchman. They didn't have a great live band that night, which was too bad because we liked the place otherwise. Lots of seating, and it was packed. The crowd was very gracious. We had a kind server, the drinks were great. The entrance and restroom are accessible. They are gender specific.

Stopped in after leaving Dragon's Den on a Thursday night. I loved the atmosphere and the space of Vaso. The Bartender was nice. Drinks are moderately priced. There was a live band playing too and they were great. I would definitely return back Vaso.

I enjoyed the overall size of this place. It was easier to find seating than other jazz spots. I liked the music of the Jason Neville Funky Soul Band here. They tend to frequent it and Maison, it's a good band to hear.

We actually stopped in a Vaso a few times. It is a bar with live music at the far end of the French Quarter on Frenchmen Street. They have a kitchen but it was being remodeled so there was no food.

They have bands playing all hours of the day, from morning to night. There are not too many bars in the French Quarter where you can hear a band play at 9 AM. The few we heard played the blues. The musicians we heard were good. And, since I only went during daylight hours when there are not too many patrons, I got to meet many of the band members. They were friendly and wanted play what we wanted to hear. They always asked for requests.

The bar is well stocked, and the server on staff when we were there was one of the best I've encountered. She really knows her stuff.

Vaso is a little off the beaten path, but going there you are close to a few other locations worth visiting. And, it does not have the craziness of Bourbon Street.

Decent selection of drinks, plenty of space and a great stage for live music. The band playing that night was terrific! Worth your time for a drink and some nice tunes 🎶

Not a jazz spot, was rock/reggae when I went. Looks like an dancefloor, it's not a pub.
