Learned a lot about Dante and his influence on the Italian culture and language. All exhibits had English translations.

Strange museum. It is basically only for people who speak Italian very well. There are short introductions in English but almost all the audios are only in Italian. There is very little information beyond the divine comedy. I had hoped for some insight into his life and work.

Cool museum, creative artwork

Very nice place. Relatively cheap, especially with student discount. All expositions are translated to english which is nice if you don't speak Italian.

Long story short: looks like a nice museum, doesn't actually close at 18:00. Please change your advertising to reflect the actual closing time of 17:30.

As an aspiring Dante scholar, this looked like a very thoughtful and interesting museum connected to the tomb of the divine poet. Unfortunately, as an international student with limited time in Ravenna, I was dismayed to learn that the museum doesn't actually close at 18:00. You're allowed to stay inside until then, but they really stop selling tickets at 17:30. This is not reflected ANYWHERE on the museum's advertising, neither online nor on the poster-board outside the entrance. Very disappointing. Really wanted to support this museum, but I'm not sure when I'll be back—if ever. Wish I could rate higher.
