The “museum” part is tiny. Barely exists. There’s a few opals and fibreglass dinosaurs on display. But it’s mainly an opal shop. Got dirty looks after looking through the museum part and they wanted us to buy some opal jewellery.
Not impressive but it’s free to have a look.
It was clean.
Not wheelchair or pram accessible as you have to go up escalators.

Free entry. There were exhibitions of "opalised fossils", which was pretty cool. You get to learn something about dinosaurs, how these stones are formed.
They also have a section where one could purchase opal jewelry.

Free entry, some incredibly beautiful and unique opals, fossils, and nice "dinosaurs".
Staff is well informed and tells you everything you want to know and more.
...well... and guess what... they even sell jewelry... that's why it's free...
Anyway, it's definitely worth a visit!

It's a nice little exhibition, well done and informative. You will most likely end up browsing their extensive collection of the opal jewelry, ranging from affordable fake opal pieces to high quality very high brilliance pieces. I didn't know I even liked opals until I saw this collection.

The only thing about opal museum was the manikin at the bottom of the stairs and one at the top the rest was dinosaurs and a jewellery shop.
If you’re in for buying opals perfect if you’re wanting to find out about the history of the opals this is not the place.
