History preserved by volunteers, gorgeous property
I popped down to the Q Street market on Lithgow Street and found the old house was open for visitors to walk through. I have to admit I have lived in the area for years and had never visited. The house was beautiful and the volunteer staff full of knowledge and very welcoming. The garden area at the back of the house was a peaceful oasis. If you are in the area on one of the open days take the time to enjoy this lovely old building
Our car club were warmly welcomed by the volunteers where we displayed our cars in the grounds. The Devonshire tea was exceptional and the tour very interesting.
Had Devonshire tea on the back verandah then toured the house
What a fantastic piece of history located in the heart of Campbelltown,
there is no cost to enter.
Wander the rooms of the home and dream of days gone by, bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the grounds of this beautiful homestead.
